I have noticed on the uniform of 1 wo eric tay sian teck, Project warrant officer hq ndu on his right hand side he is wearing a u.s. navy seal trident.
Hi all, Im Irish, and I have a problem. The British/Irish navy does not have anything resembling this branch of operations. The closest you get is a mine clearance diver, however as far as I know this provides no proper combat experience or counter terrorism activities. You could maybe go for the SBS but it first involves serving as an officer in the royal marines for a year and even then the fail rate is huge. Can you move to Singapore and work in this branch of navy? Thanks, Matt
@hardcoreclubber Im sorry but no. Im a Singaporean and i can safely say that to join the special operations you need to be a a citizen. you can join. but you would have to become a singapore citizen. And Ps, the drop out rate is also identical to that of the SBS. We mean business. If u can make it here, you can make it in the royal marines. And even the SAS.
Signorolcognito i respect those kopaska too, but all these guys been through hardships to protect us & part of the reason we are comfortably at home or somewhere else commenting. We are still human after all, all these trainings are just to increase your combat awareness and survivability. So no matter how strong are you, unless you are able to use more than 10% of your brain and become superior beings :)
4:30 guy is not only US SEAL and Ranger qualified, he also has badges of Senior Diving Supervisor, Master Parachutist and Advanced Military Freefall. An all-round guy, whoa!
And our special forces training are modelled after us special forces training, you feel the video have shown you everything, but which military ever shows you "everything". Youre dumb to think this is it 'signocognishit'. I feel you cant even get pass the adf training. Ptuii.
Signorolcognito. Or whatever shit is your nick, i can assure you, the indonesian army is atleast 10 years back of ours. When it comes to military might, its always stated that singapore is the strongest in the s.e.a region, and at every war games excercise btwn the indonesian army and saf, we beat you guys hands down, considering most of our men arent regulars and just serving the basic two years
Indonesia:.from 700-1500 only 15-20 men will pass Hell week physical training 2nd phase basic underwater training, 3rd third phase commando 4th phase parachute training.
The swim the Sunda Strait
From 15-20 men, usually only five or six make it and become Kopaska.
Indonesia Kopaska would eat Singaporean Special Forces as snacks.
@killerprince many people prefer doing commando than naval diver lo. O.o i duno whether u need IPPT gold. But i guess if u want, u can try request? but of course u must show that u got the requirements they looking for :D
What must they do to be a naval diver since you say only selected ones can be a naval diver?

I would be more terrified of kindergartners and crayons than Singapore's "army.
I am unclear as to your meaning as I am not a native English language speaker and I am unfamiliar with the word "dun".
