The British have always been the strongest supporters of America, in practically every worldly conflict. But if someone would invade your country in a first strike, because they were "scared" of you, lies about you having any dangerous weapons you don't even have, and they kill 60'000 of your civilians, and steal your money (oil), saying you aren't in the military, would you still fight them and try to kill as many of them as possible, so you can get your country back?

@jdflick20 I respect you for that, but the problem is, that the war caused most of these problems in the first place. This war was started, because of the oil Iraq has, or should I better say had? The first strike policy is wrong, especially if you lie why you make the first strike in the beginning. You know who did first strikes? Hitler did, and even he tried to cover that up. If you strike first, your ultimatly at fault.

The USA only participated in the 2nd WW after Japan attacked Pear Habor.
The USA only participated in the first WW after Germany attacked their ships.

Countries asked for help, because it's easier to win with many allies.

@M1573R666 Cuba has been fine with the US using their land ever since 1904 when the land was leased. The relationship was strengthened even further in 1934 when a treaty was signed stating "BOTH countries had to mutually consent to terminate the lease."
Why should that treaty change just because of a dictator and his "revolution".
I apologize for the harsh words earlier. I am a serviceman in the US military and get a little defensive when people talk shit about the country I love and defend.

The Cuba treaty was signed with enormous pressure on Cuba by the United States. The United States invaded Cuba, because there were problems with American farms in Cuba.
American farmes, hold most land in Cuba, but transfered the money back to the US which led to Cuba being poor, which led to political instabilty.

@skinnymason As a US Navy veteran, I concur 100%. Though, there are other countries that have supported and fought side by side with America, I have a soft spot for the fighting British. The British have always been the strongest supporters of America, in practically every worldly conflict. As to the soldier in pink briefs, I am thankful and appreciative for his sacrifice towards my freedom. It's pure dedication like this, in harms way, that has made our armed forces the most feared in battle.
