I'd say these two are equally matched... they were the best fighters left alive at this point of time.

The 5 tigers of Shu are dead but Wei Yan is probably the 6th best fighter in Shu, and Zhang He is the probably amongst the lower-tier fighter out of all Wei's 5 Great Generals (although he was probably very intelligent as Zhuge Liang said, there was no way he's as good a fighter as the likes of Xu Chu/Zhang Liao).

Too bad there was no real duel between these two. Wei Yan faked defeat here

According to official history, Lu Bu was only equal to the likes of Zhang Fei and Ma Chao. Fei and Chao didn't really change history much. It's not like just because Shu had Lu Bu Wei will die. Lu Bu was a threat, but only compared to the likes of Yuan Shu. Liu Bei is not his lil bro, and plus, Liu Bei had only a few thousand soldiers with him to fight Lu Bu who stole his lands and took majorities of his armies. Dong Zhuo would've been killed with or with out Lu Bu, with out the people who influenced him to kill Zhuo , he would still be Zhuo's bitch. All Lu Bu did was tell all Zhuo's guards to point spears at Zhuo outside of Chang An. While Fengxian goes in for the kill.

All the warriors i named were more capable than Lu Bu, as they were smarter, equal abilities as a warrior, and able commanders. If Lu Bu was successful in what? Cao Cao is better than Lu Bu. On the field of battle, Cao Cao would own Lu Bu. Lu Bu is only a good warrior, he does not have the other skills to defeat Cao Cao.

Nope, that is from the fictitious novel. Zhuge Liang never had any problems with Wei Yan, except rejecting his plans.

Wei Yan argued with Yang Yi as he wanted Zhuge Liang's position after he died, Wei Yan and Yang Yi accused each other of treason. Liu Shan asked Dong Yun and Jiang Wan(not Wei) for their opinions. Both supported Yang Yi. Then there was some fighting, and Ma Dai eventually caught up to Wei Yan and beheaded him.
