Just finished reading Meredith's book "Untied" last night which I totally recommend. I loved, loved, loved it! Kudos to her for having the courage to come out and be who she was meant to be... I wish her the best of luck. I grew up as a young child in the 80's watching her on "Family Ties" and now I'm so pleased to see her true to life character. Meredith, from one lesbian to another, congrats! ;)

It does make sense if your in denial. Some people are so in denial, that they consciously won't admit their gay till their forced to by a powerful attraction or something similar. She's in her 60's, so for her marrying a man was the done thing, she probably didn't really think about the reason she wasn't attracted to them and may have assumed that was normal, if she didn't know any different. Being married to someone don't make you straight or bi. If she says she;s gay, then she is.
