  • Basically it's a steel chassis to which the engine, drive train, wheels and so on are bolted, just like on most american muscle cars. To the steel chassis is bolted a frame of ash wood and to that is bolted the alloy body panels. In short, there are no need to worry about "Morgans being made of wood" unless you have some issue with your fenders being attached to wood rather than steel.

  • don't they usually have Original Body frames of wood on the doors and some other areas?

  • @takoon513 Original Morgans have wooden frames yes, so it's basically like driving a motorcycle that won't fall over.

  • awesome car

  • Who needs a translation here, the important line is: VVVrrrrrooooooaaaaaammm

  • Short transl:

The car was meant for Le Mans in 1976, one John McDonald asked for factory support, and two lightweight cars with widened body was made. Halfway through the build of the first one, the regulations changed, and the project was canceled. McDonald did buy the half finished car, though.

The car's got appr. 300 hp(redline@7000), according to the driver.

The driver notices the smell of petrol and fuel droplets on his neck(!) There is significant heat from the bulkhead and below the feet.

  • loved the video but I could'nt understand commentry is there a translation into English please
