-- People like me were trying to understand them, & welcome them w/ open arms. But why on earth are they separating themselves from our society & abusing us. In the end, without even knowing us well, they accuse us of being racist, Zionism & so on. If we do not agree w/ them we'll become their targets.

We have catholic schools because our society was built on this religion.....our values have grown out of this religion.....we have become Candians with catholic values even if we aren't practicing catholics.....these schools should remain...maybe not expand any more of them...but no other religious schools of any kind should be created....muslims must have respect for this country and it's rich history.....they are part of this free democracy and they should be allowed to know us....

all CANADIAN children should be required by law to attend public schools....they must learn our history..correctly.....and learn about what has lead up to this free country.....we have fought for this......it should never be given away to barbarians from Saudi Arabia.....to teach hatred for western cultures and non-muslims right here on Canadian soil.....no religious schools!!!!

I believe in a universal, secular school system. I also believe that many schools do a poor job of safeguarding their students safety and well-being. If we conscript children and force them into schools, we have a responsibility of giving them an excellent education.

If a government considers that children should be protected against physical and sexual abuse, then tell me why their minds should be any less important? No parent or school should be able to impose a religion on a child. It is simply inappropriate considering how easily children's minds accept whatever is rammed in there.

I support any movement to make it illegal to indoctrinate a child under the age of 16-18 in any religion or in anything that is not of benefit to the child's development.

I went through 13 years in the public education system in Ontario (kindergarten to grade 12) and graduated as an Ontario Scholar. I've met people of all different beliefs, cultures, and sexual orientations, and I got along with them without any problems.

If you want to teach your child about your religion, do it at home or in your place of worship. School is for learning factual knowledge and for developing interpersonal skills, it is not a place to teach your personal faith.

Separation of church and state is very important. Religious schools should not be paid for with public funds.

I believe in choice in education.

Vouchers are the answer, or cut taxes and let parents send children where they want.

OR

Clean up the ontario curriculum and stop teaching homosexuality

We have had a long run of an educational system which is totally lacking in transparency,a system which employs teaching methods appropriate for class sizes of ten students or less, a system in which getting a second opinion is impossible. Give us our children back, now! School choice is what is needed.
