  • Dear Hakan Ehn! I do like to by me a "Hohner Marine Harp" and i try to learn, how to play it! Do you remember, i had written to you a E- Mail and there was a very friendly answer from you, back to me! Thank you very much!! I do think, you have had a wonderful X- Mas with many very nice presents to you!! But no harmonicas, i do think, you do have enough of them in your rooms!!;o)...:o)... Ok, have a happy Year 2012 and... try on to play the Harp !!

    Loveley Greetinx to Finland, Markus;o)...:o)

  • @MarkusRonfeldt

    Kiitos and Happy New Year!

    Håkan

  • I play it 3 4 -3 3, its almost the same ?

  • @MarceloGreenDay

    Yes it's about the same

  • @HakanEhn But isn't it better to draw 2 because of possible bending?

  • Great tutorial bro, thanks for the help. But the tune was first heard on Hoochie Coochie Man in 1954 (I think that' the right year?)

  • @MrPunkFever

Thank you! Yes Hoochie Coochie has a similar riff.

  • Can you teach how to play Rollin and Tumbblin By Little Walter ? Please ..

  • @bryanroc

Oh I don't know. But I could have bended it a little unintentionally. Or one of our harps could have been out of tune or maybe tuned slightly different.

    Håkan

  • @bryanroc

    Tack själv!

    Håkan

    Hakan

  • thanks for the great lesson! only thing that bothered me was muddy waters wasnt from chicago. he was from mississippi. thats actually where he got the nickname from; Muddy (Mississippi) Waters.

  • @dude151

hey dude, don't let that bother you!

  • @dude151 man chicago blues is the genre..not where he came from

  • This is a great lesson thank you.

Is there any chance you could do a lesson on, "Rollin' and Tumblin'"?

  • @transtremm

Thank you. I love very distinctive riffs like this one. But I don't think Rollin Tumblin riff is very obvious for harmonica.

  • Awesome! Could you teach how you did the solo in the middle of your performance video.

  • Hey dude, great lessoan!

    Thanks!

  • @erickfuga

    thanks dude !

  • lol i don't kno maybe it's cuz i'm a newbie or my harmonica is wrong but it doesn't sound the same at all

  • heisan.Det lyder skide godt...(its sound really nice). Venlig hilsen fra Danmark.

  • @skjoedt79 Tackar!

  • Respect from Algiers 5/5

  • @bigpapenotdead Thank you!

  • Τhanks man.....greetings from Greece

  • Dude, you ever come to San Francisco, drop me a line and I will buy you a couple of beers!

  • are you tongue blocking here ?

  • @riff3433 no, not here

  • Very good instructional video. You stay focused on instruction and don't go into performance mode. Thanks for sharing. It seems easier (for me) to start the lick on the three blow (clean single note) but finish as you have instructed.

  • if 2 draw is too hard try 3 blow. sounds fine to me.

  • @Keanu034 you can get a much better bend and blues sound on a draw

  • Comment removed

  • @Neon241 ?

  • Thanks Håkan.

  • Nice

  • It should be easy, but I can't play on 2. hole. Its really annoying.

  • You the Man. Love the cool blues look.

  • @boufgreg

    Thanks man.

  • @boufgreg Thanks so much for the lesson for harmonica players that are new to the instrument. Hope to see more videos in the future. Thanks again.

  • thanks...

  • Finally something for a beginner.

    Thanks

    Keep em coming
