have any of you realised anything? england usualy make their players try not play with any individuality, personality or flare..... however in this match did u notice that both ashtons and youngs tries were a "lets give it a shot" attempt and it worked,it wasnt exactly instructed like how they HAVE to play and what they can or not do.....its called freedom to express yourself as a player, however down in the southern hemisphere they do that alot.....

I'm an England fan whatever the sport, and I've been at Ashes games, T 20 games and Rugby internationals and the Australians have always been good value for money, both on and off the pitch. It's a great rivalry and they know how to take the piss and still be mates unlike any other country England play. Can't wait for the Ashes Downunder!

Just watched England demolish Australia. But have to say, the rivalry between the English and Australians, whether it rugby or cricket, is something that must be cherished. The atmos and banter is better than any other, when the kiwis are there it just aint the same. If England do not win the next RWC, then I just hope it is Australia.

Going by a lot more than this match alone, England look good for the World cup! However that said, I still think we'll be losing Semi-finalists! The final will Be NZ vs SA, (NZ will win). Semi finals ENG vs NZ, AUS vs SA, Quarter Finals: ENG v FRA, NZ vs ARG, FIJ v SA, AUS v IRE. What do people feel about this?

The good thing about this result for England, is that when Australia come to England this autumn, they will be coming having lost instead of the usual win. I think England are defo on an upward curve, the autumn and 6 nations will be interesting :)

@budwhite1 Oh dear, as much as I am an England fan, every year it's always the same. There will be the initial wave of optimism which is immediately dashed when the whole thing is over. I'll be very glad to see any of the 6 nations beating any of the tri-nations.

@semtex84 I don't doubt Australia will come back strong at some point, I even fancied them to win the Tri Nations last year, however, the latest crop of young players have failed to deliver on the big occasions and on a consistent basis. Australia will make the semi finals of the world cup at the least and I think England will make it there too...and that's where the real test begins and in the past, England have proven themselves better on the big occasion than the Aussies I'm afraid.
