yup R.I.P the old white heart, its now reformed to a mini mall and offices... the red room is back up and running. im pretty sure this was the gig my father was at whilst i was being born :P love it
@bonnie156villan I was on the piss and fucking having a ball at sweetwaters festival( 98) and met Boots. He got onit with us in dave blackmores sataned out truck trailer. Go hard boots and SF, you guys are true punk! Legends
Well R.I.P. to the White Hart Hotel. (Where all of the live scenes for this clip were filmed). I hope there's another suitable venue for that breed of uniquely Taranaki music!
thank fuck this is here, truely one great NZ band that inspired me to keep the faith and be a fuken singer cause i can make punk sound real good too.LOve this song. thanks SF
FUCK YEAH! Strange, I was looking for this on here about 3-4 months ago but couldn't find it...yet it's been on here since March 2009...rock on Filth!
@therockswanakabrad I play it C, G, A (though maybe its Am), F for the intro and verse, then for the chorus C 5th root bar chord, drop the bass note one semitone but keep the rest of the chord there for like a B/C combo, Am, G
Then in the end of the chorus (gypsy blood coming out of me) F, G.
Our bands just started covering it, Definitely my favourite NZ punk song
I went to NZ for ny 18th birthday (a long time ago) and made sure I found the Sticky Filth LPs while I was there. Ended up getting them both at Real Groovy records in Auckland. So good. Never got to ImaHitt Records, wish I did though.
i first heard this song as a 15yr old school girl from NPGHS, it rocks now as much as it did then!! I still got the record in pristine condition!! Thanks for the upload :)
i was a 15 year old school girl at NPGHS when i first heard this song....37 years old now still got the album and still love it!!! Thanks for the upload!!
Seriously, that fucken great. Been out of the naki for 14 years and hadn't heard about them since i got back. Will be looking for that cd you mentioned.
Thanks so much for posting this. I heard that the lead singer has done some acoustic stuff in the last ten years or so -- anyone know anything about that?
Absolutely excellent to see this song on here. Still love it after all these years. Use to scream it at the top of my lungs and freaked out a hitch hiker I picked up once in Reefton. I doubt he will ever forget the song.
still love you
