These videos only show the tasing incident; they never show what led to it. Then people who can't see two feet past their own face blame the police for the problem. I was arrested once (long ago, DUI), did what I was told to do, and nothing like this happened. In fact, they said they wished more of their arrests acted like me while in custody. If I had resisted, they would have done their job by roughing me up, but I'm not that stupid. Resist and you will get hurt.
Thats just laziness for the officer to have to use the taser gun on her. The situation could've been dealt with a lot more calmness(not using excessive/unnecessary force), and instead, we see the officer revealing his agitation by stupidly making matters worse for the woman. In my eyes, this is human degradation and these cases should not be tolerated. I mean come on, he could have had brought her out physically without using a weapon, and the taser gun can be lethal in some circumstances.
A. If she was cuffed, you don't Taser unless they escape. She was in another car, all you do is wait for back up. Use your pepper spray to sub-due her if need be. She has already damaged the first car so whatever else she does only adds to the charges and the cruiser will have to be repaired anyway.

Have any of you ever attempted to "follow orders" while being taser? It can't be done cause you have no muscle control. A. If she was cuffed, you don't Taser unless they escape. She was in another car, all you do is wait for back up. Use your pepper spray to sub-due her if need be. She has already damaged the first car so whatever else she does only adds to the charges and the cruiser will have to be repaired anyway.
B. What is it with badge heavy officers that like to prove how tough they are? What is kicking at her gonna do while being unnecessarily Tasered.
In my opinion, this officer failed badly.

The cop didn't tase her long enough. I would have held the button down till the battery gave out or she went into convulsions. That's why you should always carry extra taser batteries. I bet she twitches just thinking about the incident.

Have any of you ever attempted to "follow orders" while being taser? It can't be done cause you have no muscle control. The taser is a vital tool in protecting our law enforcement officers but utilize some common sense and understand a person tased cannot follow orders while tased and if you do decide to tase that while intentions of maintaining control are there you have decided to elevate the use of force.

After being hit with the taser, the cop told her to get on the ground and put her hands behind her back and she continued to run. The news ticker says she was handcuffed but you can see she was not. She was knocked out when she fell down. She was told to get down on the ground, not try to stand up.

What's the whole story here? I don't think we're seeing it here. I side with the police nearly always. And I've given the police shit before, and had to pay for it. It's the people that are truly the ones being wrong. You've got to be appropriately submissive. They are the authorities, professionally and lawfully, as appropriate, - disobey and you will get shit. The police are here for keeping lawful order, given the vast amounts of people we have.

i wonder if this guy went through taser training? ive been through oc spray and its extremely painful, even to the point i was praying for releif, seriously. ive tested out a stun gun and that just about put me on the ground with a half second to one second zapping in the leg through thick jeans, (1.2 million double trouble model) i didnt know what these things were capable of and ive probably got burn marks from that stun gun still after a few months. these tasers are less of a joke than that
