If I am right, no harm done.
If you are right, you are worshiping a god who has deliberately deceived me despite me wanting to know him, and he'd would rather send people to hell than interact with them.

With all due respect to Susan, scientists do have a pretty good concept of how the brain develops, and we know there is a lot of pruning and trial and error in the development of the brain. Hell, babies go through a "use it or lose it" phase, where most neurons die in a process called aptosis.I don't think I consider that people getting a play right without a script, director etc. There's A LOT of trial and error. It's not that much of a miracle

@ShortFactor god could not have made evolution, as it as a process that is the exact opposite of any maker. Evolution happens without anything in place. Much like a ball floats in space without anyone making it float..

@YHWHisSovereign Getting slightly tired of retards like you not knowing anything whatsoever about science and then trying to argue. Evolution makes that happend for the reason that stable structures survive, while others dont. Things that happens by chance and is more stable than its other companions will have a better chance of survival. The brain didnt magically arise, it arised in stages from the simple to complex, whereas every change lead to better survival chances.

Idiots like you can only state that stable structures survive, and hope that that is an explanation. That's BS! Your argument is very poor while at the same time you have no real grasp nor intellectual ability to realize evolution CAN "make" our brain the way it is. It is kind of funny though, since ur all "BRAIN IS SO COMPLEX ROOOOOAR" while having a big lack of it. If you cannot take the randomness of mutations that contribute to a better survivability, then how on earth can you accept god, the most unlikely guy to arise, as an answer?

@YHWHisSovereign To point it out even more childishly, take a look at all those poor guys who suffer from mutations in our days. Three legs, skin turned upside-down and so on. Imagine one guy had a similar mutation to that, only difference was that the mutation was actually contributing to his life. That is how evolution works, and if you cannot accept it, you are either damn stupid or.....incredible stupid...

1.) everything is in the "genetic material (dna)" (or at a macromolecular level, this is what does the thinking!!) and all the instruction to build that spatio-temporal complexity of neurons has to be attributed to this (since this is what passes from generation to generation)
or
2.) the role "players" that the woman suggests are much smarter and "experienced" than what she thinks they are.

@YHWHisSovereign yes one can ponder what is the origin of evolution itself? that is a deep and profound question... and it is all tied up to what is the origin of life etc... will we ever find the answer to this question?
what about concious? think about it, we as humans have "conscious". It is so incredible and unbelievable, that we even take that for granted. If we can create life, and manipulate life, and do so many other incredible things...maybe in essence we are our own god?

@amr2286 You can simply get better at anything just by doing it a few times or just simply by learning, our brain is so amazing that if you are good enough doing the connections between the cells you can even do smthn pretty well even if its the first time, or even if its unknown to you. Evolution is the basis for everything, think about it! There was the first micromicromicrocell, and then evolution did the rest. Still evolution is to me a curse of us humans, a deep opinion....

@blakan3 Right, but what I meant to say previously was the "origin" of evolution... or to ask more simply why does evolution exist in the first place? it seems nature always wants to get more "complicated" (which pretty much sums up the production of evolution... creating complex beings like us who can think) but why??? Its a profound question and we will perhaps never arrive at a satisfying conclusion.

@amr2286 My conclusion was:The universe is much more than meets the eye, Logic depends on what dimensions you live in, thus dimensions might be actually subdimensions inside a "whole" in witch logic itself depends on what dimension you actually live in. All this in a vortex where logic does not exist. Resuming: In my opinion our universe is a string, a string out of many that form a rope and so on.
Meaning in our logic theres a beggining for everything wereas, logic itself can be questioned.

the brain is the most complicated organ in the body, and evolution could in no way formed the brain to think and work as it does. There was an intelligent designer---God. Only a fool says there is no God. God created the laws of science! We are not just blobs of nothing. King David stated, "we are fearfully and wonderfully made." Only God could create life that is so intricate, so complex.
