Boeing currently hasn´t responded yet...so:
Each Boeing 737 is just a potential Killing Machine by lazyness of Boeing to change their systems...saving cost???IOL.
It's too bad to have to say but it takes time to get AD's (airworthiness directive) or some other sort of change to come down the pike even when they really know what the cause was. And yes the true facts are and have ALWAYS been that it's about money. Think about it when ever you look for another cheap fare.

Num é o cacete, acidente acontece, e se esses americanos fossem tão bons em segurança, num deixariam acontecer o que aconteceu com as World Trade Center. my mom landed in sao paolo last year during a brazil trip. even she (with her 67 yrs) wondered about the difficult landing with strong braking after touchdown there. thanks god she was not onboard now.

I'm brazilian, from city of Porto Alegre (the plane went from here to Sao Paulo). It's really horrible, many students was dead in this acident, the number ov victims is around 200, or more...
who cares about this incident? why dont anybody care about the war in Iraq and the thousands and thousands of people dying in Iraq, nobody cares, so why should you care about this airplane crash? unfair it really is, you people should start to think carefully, and stop being selfish.
I think YOU need to think carefully what you write. I DO care about the war in Irak, and in fact, why don't you go out on the streets and start getting people together to impeach that idiot you have as president (which you guys voted TWICE!!). AND ALSO, this is a terrible tragedy and it would be an act of greatness from you to actually have some compassion for the victims (and family members) of this tragedy.
My condolences for the families... However, in my opinion this was one tragedy that every Brazilian people was predicting since our air transport system was forgotten the last years by our government, unfortunately...
