A 200mW red laser will have similar burning ability.

Forget the arctic, you are better of with a 1 watt Spartan laser that is cheaper, has higher quality and better reviews.

Looking at light reflected of plastic, matches, clothing, normal walls etc is safe but the glare may eventually give you a headache.

It burns white paper, so it has low efficiency to convert IR wavelenght into green and it has no IR filter or limited IR filtered.

Finally, this laser is not good, and dragonlasers too. Those lasers are extremly dangerous and expensive.

Your laser has a low efficency, high consumption, i think 200 mW is referred to the total power of device, not to the output useful power (green wavelenght). Sorry for bad english).

You are correct on efficiency. Most lasers are very inefficient in converting battery energy into beam energy.

All our lasers have IR filters that block at least 98-99% of IR light.

200mW is the minimum average output power of 532nm light. The normal average output power for a 200mW model will be around 240mW or higher.
