The first verse which Dr Shorosh mentioned is not "read" rather it is recite in arabic "IKRA"and gebril did not bring a paper to show mohammed to read from it. gebril recited and Mohammed repeated thats what the Quran says. Dr shorosh continues to mistranslate the Quran for more than a decade. I remember he mistranslated the quran sitting among the audiance in Ahmed deedat speach Where Ahmed deedat replied "Your Knowledge of Arabic is very poor" though Dr shorosh was an Arab.
