@TofeeTuff Too tell you the truth, no. 2d plat-form games are even more generic then FPS's, since they use no new game content, just the same. Get from A to B while using your generic weapons to jump/shoot the enemy. At least in something like MW3 (Which is as generic as an FPS can get) you can have fun playing, which will always be diffirent. No matter how many times you play it.

@TheDarklord0211 I see what you mean, and I agree, but I think when it comes to graphic/art types, platformers are better, as if you look over all the platformers, many beatiful and interesting art types have emerged. I mean, look at Trine, LittlebigPlanet and now this. But with FPS's the graphical types seem to all strive for a realistic look. Some games pull it off (Battlefield) whilst others.. well... eh...

@TofeeTuff I own Littlebigplanet and trine, i like them because..

LittleBigPlanet is a game with platforming elements, yes, but it also has a large variety in building & a very simple version of scripting involved, so i ended up getting really deep into the game.

Trine is fun because its a multiplayer co-op puzzle game, not just running from a to b.

But most 2D <--- (Remember that, 2D.) platform games are the same boring thing, again and again.. and again. I really hate games like this.

It's a game by 5th Cell they made The Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life games. There's a 99/100 chance this will be a master piece too.

The only thing that bugs me is that it's an app i-stuff and not a Cartridge game for DS like their other games XP
