  • Yet Kira was able to successfully dodge all the beams shot at him, up until the climax, where he kills Rau! If Kira wasnt able to predict or understand his opponents movements, Im pretty sure he would be another one of those noob pilots who gets shot down. Im pretty sure being able to 1v3 (freedom vs clamity, raider, and etc) doesnt prove that he as the skills to dodge and predict his opponents shots. Because afterall dodging 45392849021830219 beams means nothing

  • He got a set of Freedom's wing binders and head lobbed off when he faced all three of them (WITH Athrun helping him (GS 46), but thanks for trying

Kira's not a BAD pilot for a named, but he's not the best. He also has top of the line MS all throughout his career, particularly Freedom/SF being exceptionally maneuverable

And at the end of the day, he couldn't dodge Shinn's beam rifle to Freedom's; shoulder, his back, beam rifle and most importantly, an Excalibur to his torso, in a 1v1

  • And referencing back to the Blitz! It was a instinct reaction! Blitz came out of no where and kira ducked quickly and tried to hit it, so he could survive! In this case the impulse was clearly there and visible for Kira to see! And if Kira wasnt able to predict or calculate the positioning of his opponents moves, he wouldnt have gotten as far as he did now! Look at GS, Everyone got destoryed by the providence, the buster didnt even stand a chance against it, it blew up in more seconds!

  • Which is irrelevant, instinct or no. What was being illustrated here was that similar attacks can have different targets. You say that the horizontal slash at the torso of Impulse obviously equals an attack for the legs...because that's what Kira did vs Duel and the moves looked similar (horizontal slashes at the torso) so all attacks like that must have the same target! Cool, now I point out how a similar attack was used on Blitz, and it hit the cockpit.

  • This proves that not all horizontal slashes are going for the legs...like you foolishly seem to suggest.

Now, if you're going to say the intent was different with Blitz and Duel (surprised and methodically disabling) and that intent dictates the attack, we can infer that different intents can have different outcomes and executions (in Duel's case he lowered the strike further to hit the legs). We already have two other attacks showing Kira is taking would-be cockpit shots at...

  • ...Impulse AND the animation shows this strike going through the spot the cockpit was immediately prior.

I'm not saying he can't anticipate and be right about some things, but what you're saying is that he knew exactly how Shinn was going to avoid lethal attacks multiple times...however if Shinn hadn't moved the way he did, Kira kills him. If Kira really doesn't want to kill him...how can he be so sure that Shinn will dodge in the manner that he does, as fast as he does?

  • Oh lol, don't even get me started on Providence. Kira, by all rights, died twice in the fight with Rau. His final charge of RAEG, was a joke. Freedom was shot in the chest by beam weaponry (which = death) AND was near miss (arguably hit in the leg) by GENESIS...which blows up BATTLESHIPS by being anywhere even near them. Mind you, battleships have thick assed hulls, which Freedom does not, and they still blew up, much farther away from the beams than Freedom was.

  • @Weltall8000

Well the shot that you are referring to hits one of the ventilation plates on the freedoms chest and not the cockpit directly so I can see Kira surviving that. As for the Genesis part, well there's more to it than that. Genesis first fires a shot which then hits the mirror in front of it. The mirror then amplifies the energy and redirects it towards Genesis which then fires the amplified shot. Basically Kira was hit by the stage one shot and not the fully charged shot.

  • @zetatrain You mean, the vents that are immediately adjacent to the cockpit, right? Why doesn't that stop him dead in his tracks again? Any non named MS would blow up instantly, even with plot shielding, that should devastate the MS.

Which wouldn't even matter, as it is still a giant wave of radiation, that can blow up battleships by even being somewhat near them.

You're right though, it is totally ludicrous that he didn't die.

  • Well if the shot doesn't penetrate the core then all the mobile suit has is a big dent and no boom. I admit its a bit of a stretch but not ludicrous, at least IMO.

True, but my point was that the blast the freedom got hit with was only a fraction of what the battleships were hit with earlier.

I guess Kira's ludicrous survival doesn't bother me much because there are even more ludicrous ways that gundam protagonists have cheated death.

  • @zetatrain It hits the central mass of the MS. If it doesn't outright cause it to implode, or fry the reactor/cause it to overheat without the cooling system, it should at least severely damage it. The very fact the beam hit and practically bounced off of it, is screaming plot shielding, the are the same kind of beams from the very weapons that wasted the METEOR unit and ripped off other limbs of Freedom.

  • Which is irrelevant, as what deals the damage is the radiation whether it's 100 yards diameter or a mile, it's all gamma radiation. A near miss like that, should be as fatal in one as it is the other.

True, others have had ridiculous plot shielding, but Kira is definitely a contender at the head of the pack in that regard.

  • @Weltall8000

For instance I'd say Kira surviving the aegis blowing up right in his face when his cockpit has a giant hole in it is even more ludicrous than his brush with death in the last episode.

And lets not forget Heero Yui from Gundam Wing, who self destructed while he was standing right outside the cockpit, fell about 50 to what should have been his death, suffered massive blood loss, and was some how healed buy Trowa who I assume had nothing more than a first aid kit.

  • @zetatrain

    fell 50 feet*

  • @zetatrain The Aegis fight was totally absurd. Kira has, by all rights, been killed at least five times throughout CE Gundam.

Hiro was ridiculous, but I'd say his survival is a shred more believable than Kira's in the self destructs; Hiro was thrown away from it (still should most likely have died or at least permanently been maimed). Kira's trapped in a cockpit forced to take it (shouldn't even have remains).

  • @Weltall8000

Here's the problem, Heero was literally a few feet from the center off what was the equivalent of nuclear explosion with nothing in between. Forget surviving a 50 foot fall, he should have been vaporized not thrown away from the blast. I guess the reason why Heero takes home the gold for me is that in just one scene we have three ways Heero should have died (vaporized, gravity, and blood loss) and to top it off it was nothing a few bandages and a few weeks of rest couldn't heal.

  • @zetatrain Nothing at all indicated it was a nuclear explosion, nor even close to possessing the force of a nuclear weapon.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do think he should have died or permanently been out of action, but he wasn't shown losing so much blood that he should immediately be written off as dead for that. A fall from 50 feet, is not unreasonable to survive. The force of the explosion really was the biggest one, which should have ripped him apart. But at least they had...

  • ..him being thrown by it, mitigating some of the force

In Kira's case, he had to absorb the force of the explosion without it being bled off by rolling with it like Heero, he's also stuck to deal with the immediate heat of it, plus the subsequent fire. Even with the retcon of Lowe Gear saving him from the wreckage, Kira's absolutely dead. His body shouldn't even exist as anything beyond ash

Both should have died, but bloody pulp < ash/vaporized, on the "who got wrecked more" scale

  • @Weltall8000

You're right their was no indication that the blast was the equivalent of a nuclear blast, but still considering that Heero was standing right on top of it and let's assume the blast was equal to that of the Aegis, wouldn't the blast have incinerated him before he could have been flung clear of it?

  • Shock waves precede the chemical reaction (the fire) in the case of high explosives. He would be hit first by the shock wave and it could throw him before the fiery explosion hits him, mitigating the actual contact with the fire aspect of it. It's very likely a wave this powerful would rip him apart as I previously mentioned, but it makes it at least somewhat feasible the he could live (or at least not be incinerated), whereas Kira doesn't even have that level of doubt at incineration

  • @Weltall8000

Still even I will admit the fact that Kira survived the Genesis shot was ludicrous. From what I understand the initial shot is still the equivalent of a nuclear warhead and when you also factor in the extensive damage the freedom already took its a wonder Kira wasn't burnt to a crisp or completely vaporized.

  • Also, Buster is garbage and shouldn't even be close to Freedom (much less its METEOR unit) in terms of maneuverability. And yes, Kira is a better pilot than Dearka, who sucks anyways.

  • On top of that! Back to Kira being able to predict his opponents moves! Imma stand firm on this, you said shinn surprises him by being able to dodge all his moves! That didnt throw a wrench to my logic

Shinn actually studied Kira's moves! The last 2 fights before that did Shinn ever lay a scratch on Kira? So what your saying is that even after studying someones battle style you wont have an advantage. Because if thats the case, I think you need to get off your computer and enter the real world.

  • Ok then...why does Shinn hit Freedom at all? Hmm, guess it does derail you.

I never ever said that studying an opponent isn't advantageous (that is smart of Shinn for doing so, Kira should have done the same). That doesn't change the fact that Shinn surprised Kira with his quick AND EFFECTIVE counterattacks, WHICH LANDED.

No, he didn't, though I'll pose you a question: "In the last two encounters prior to 34, (Phases 32 and 28) did Kira lay a scratch on Impulse?" The answer is "no."

  • Your saying fighting stance! Yet Kira has done many fighting stances! All of which he destoryed the other opponent! You can say its harder to block a diagonal slash, but anyone that has gone up against kira in a sword fight has lost, no matter what stance he has use! Freedom vs Savior, Strike vs Aegis, Strike vs Blitz, and etc. Like do you think it would be possible to really chop off someones arm just by taking your sword out of your sheath and then do a backslash in real life?

  • @X2Freedom Yet, Kira didn't destroy Shinn. I guess when he is matched against good pilots instead of fodder, he's not so great.

Shinn didn't lose to Kira in a sword fight. Freedom vs Savior? lol? Kira's in Seed mode, Athrun isn't AND Athrun's MS is vastly inferior to Freedom. Strike vs Aegis? Athrun defeated Kira.

Strike VS Blitz? Nicol just blindly ran at Kira with a torn up MS and the LeCrusset team, barring Athrun and Rau himself, were practically fodder, just with good MS.

  • I don't understand your comment; Freedom's sword wasn't sheathed and it wasn't a backslash. Impulse's sword was in a position that it could have easily comeback for a diagonal slash on Freedom. Kira struck first, but if he hadn't, his diagonal slash would have blocked Shinn's slash. If it were a horizontal slash and he wasn't ahead of Shinn, it could end in a double death.

Regardless, it's a moot point, as the slash Kira took, would have killed Shinn, had Shinn not dodged.

  • I love this episode!

  • Uno de los mejores capitulos y una de las mejores escenas de esta exelente serie de "Gundam Seed". Gracias.

  • NO

    DON'T DO IT

ARRGH, I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!

    /watch?v=5-ZT7A7mnGY

  • Kira is the worst Villain in gundam

He destroyed shin's family, Killed shin's Waifu

Took away so many people's waifus as his Own.

U guys think Orb are the good guys,

Hell no, ZAft are the good ones.

After kira owns freedom, everything changed

    And lacus is sweet?

SHE IS THE 1 THAT CONTROLS OVER ALL THE JUSTICE AND FREEDOM FOR ETERNAL.

WAKE UP MAN, KIRA IS THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE SHOW.

  • @Getsunosuke

Lacus is genius in the Gundam Seed Destiny, she is the one smart master ,all she need 2 win the war,is 2 have Strike Freedom and Justice

  • @Getsunosuke uuhhmmm well there's loop holes on those assumptions

He didn't kill shin's family :) it was a crossfire between the Calamity and Freedom so it's either Kira or Orga no proof that Kira did it.

Be reasonable, so ur gonna weight the lives of a whole city for a girl?

Well it's war, ur suppose to kill but apparently he avoided it when he got Freedom(except Rau Le Cruset) so yeah...

and Orb is stupid actually in the Destiny series that dude with purple hair ran it not Cagalli

  • @Frost725

Yuna was a fucking idiot from the start anyways, it's because he's in the seiran family so they all end up being idiotic. The crossfire was never explained, i wonder whether it was because of character views, would it have changed what most people thought about orga if they had shown him killing shinns family. If it was kira then there would be a lot of arguments based around that because he's one of the main characters.

  • @xXDestinyGundam950Xx Yeah dude. Whether who killed Shinn's family, it could be a bombing or something, and well technically they were also at fault especially Mayu, wow u'd stop cuz of a stupid cellphone that's kinda stupid. so well what happened, happened.

  • @Frost725 Most. Epic. Fail. In any anime. Seriously, I don't think I've seen a dumber intro than that, lolol. It must've been an iPhone 1000 because damn, it was so effing precious to Mayu, lol.

  • @Getsunosuke Lolz have you watch the series ? Or ur just stupid and cant process the right idea ? they were just trying to stop war

  • @Pwnage4Life321 his just a kira hater who epicly thinks its cool to hate a anime character. lol seriously its a show people are just being a kid that's why he cant see whats really is happening. kira a villain? who cares his the strongest in the show, he destroy shins family? no he didnt it was the other mobile suit but his too damn too see that, zaft good guys? thats why they tried to destroy all other races other than coordinator lol epicly dumb

  • @velascocharles Actual when u said "He destory Shins family? no he ddint it was the other mobile suit but his too damn too see that," that is wrong it was not calamity gundam who destoy shinns family .... it was never explained who killed his family and yes he a hater

  • @velascocharles Kira is actually an antagonist in GSD.

Shinn and Athrun are both better pilots than Kira...to say nothing of others in their universe (looking at the Gundam ASTRAYs...).

Kira did kill Shinn's family, either directly or indirectly, whether it was him that fired the shot or deflecting the shot, his battle with the Druggies over Orb caused the bolt to fry his family.

No, that would be LOGOS/Blue Cosmos...who were Naturals, that were attempting to commit genocide.

  • Unless you want to count the very end of GS, in which Patrick Zala was willing to fire GENESIS on Earth...but that was a reprisal to the culmination of the Naturals' war against them, which included WMDs multiple times against even their civilians. After that? No, ZAFT really were pretty much in the right all throughout GSD. LOGOS, EA, Orb, and Lacus' faction, really were the "bad guys."

  • @Getsunosuke your mindset is screwed, press the reset button on your life please.

  • @jessicajunged normfags

  • @Getsunosuke Damn...why is the dumbest commenter from the same country as me?

  • @Getsunosuke did u even watch the show?

  • お前の機体を取りに行け!

    バルトーーーーかっこよし!だけど、キラのほうがまだかっこいい!!!

  • How could anyone hate Kira? he´s awesome!

  • but the strike was the original colors, only the shield was pink....

  • @megaduce104 Read this:

  • @megaduce104 dude that was from cagali's shield

  • @naaaruto211 yeah i forgot that when he changed the OS of the strike rouge he changed the colors back to he original, and the shield doesn't change colors like the strike does, so yeah, that is the strike rouge

i had a small mental lapse...

  • @megaduce104 its ok i have a bit problem of mental lapse too LOL

  • /kirayamato

    cheat enabled.

  • dat divine punishment from jesus yamato

  • he's going so fast that my computer is lagging

  • You Jesus Yamato Faggots don't know a bad gundam if one jumped up and blew off the ends of your fucking dicks.

    /watch?v=5-ZT7A7mnGY

Nuff said, with that video. >=)

  • @WackyModder84 well well what do we have here looks like someones been watching a video about strikefreedom >:D

  • I like the normal version better because it has Meteor as bgm ;)

  • subs ftw

  • strike freedom more powerful..i think la.. : )

  • its aile strike not strike rouge

  • @deadman123x

It is Strike rouge because Aile Strike was destroyed when Muu La Flaaga was piloting it in the SEED series. Kira took Cagalli's strike rouge and reprogrammed it to his settings and thus changed the color setting to Aile Strike. You lose.

  • @eiennofantasy fine bitch

  • The original fanart books I have

  • 3:51 they are all like begin the tentacle rape

  • what the hell suppose the background music was T.M Revolution song

  • @fidotcsm82 Vestige!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm pretty sure thats not the strike rouge.....isnt the strike rouge red?

  • @TheRaikuso they did an emergency paint job to make sure kira doesnt look girly while saving his girls life.}

the writers made sure of that.

  • @dya230 if you watch the series you will understand why the color change, the exact same thing happens when Impulse changes backpacks, its called phase shift armor

  • Kira カッコイイ >///<

  • Super Freedom and Infinite Justice, originally :3

  • @Witsarunemitea Its Super Freedom and Knight Justice

  • @FlankerX Seriously ? How do you know that I'd like to know where you found that piece of information ;D I searched on Google but I didn't really find anything. I'm curious !

  • 17 people got owned by the freedom

  • woohooo Strike Freedom FTW!! anyway guys! keep up with ur fact, hate or watever... cuz (I DON'T CARE!)

  • The Strike Freedom song....isn't that the victory tune from GSD: Rengou vs ZAFT II?

  • oh Kira we thought you could use the Freedom back since you know...Shinn was being a douche. Oh we also added in bits, better armor, and even gold joints for the extra pazazz! Now go show that prick Shinn how your suppose to pilot a gundam.

  • So much emphasis on shooting action poses. Sheesh

  • very good

  • Some of those explosions (especially the one in the nazca class) had to have killed someone.

  • Exelente sin duda alguna mis camaradas. Una maquina de combate superior para un guerrero superior.

  • Wheres the TM's revolution song??

  • @nyczyar As this is the Special Edition, Sunrise/Bandai Entertainment had Toshihiko Sahashi compose a piece specifically for the Strike Freedom's launch. Many thought that the pop song as a lead mobile suit's theme would break too much from the established orchestrated soundtrack of the series. As such, Vestige was replaced by "Aratanaru Chikara to Seigi". Personally, I do not enjoy insert songs. Most of the soundtrack is orchestrated, and then Cagalli's father dies and insert pop song?!

  • Between the crippled Strike getting into Eternal and Freedom launching, the twenty Zaku can't shoot down a giant ship with practically no defense

  • Jesus Christ has returned!

  • Why is strike rouge normal/ strike have rouge's shield?

  • @detectiveconan996 He's using the Strike Rouge, he's just reconfigured the armour settings to what the original Strike used, presumably to conserve as much power as possible, since red phase shift armour (like what Cagalli uses in SEED) uses more of it. As for the shield, it's just a shield and already has colour regardless of the phase shift system.

  • @XiphiasX10A Thanks!

  • @detectiveconan996 kira chance the phase(color) of strike rouge becomse same as normal strike...

  • @raiser188 This tells us he doesnt like pink

  • @jasonsn11 noo.well possible,,but the phase shift is depend on the color.."the color is indicator the power"like blue mean speed

  • @raiser188 Are u serious cause Ive rewatch the series more than 10 times and Ive never known that.... But the Aegis was fast and it was red and so was the Justice....

  • @jasonsn11 hey justice and eigis is melee..and freedom blue it's fast and flexible

  • @raiser188 If u put it that way but how about the Duel... It was artillery type

  • @jasonsn11 duel is fast type just like strike,,,well balance, duel is use an armor soo it's become artillery

  • @raiser188 Fine... U win

  • @raiser188 Nope the amour colour can be alterable by entering different values in the Armor Voltage section of the OS,so its up to the pilots what colour they want

  • I love how they recycle everything

  • JS. This makes me want to watch the whole series again. And if I do decide to watch it again, it'll be my 8th time to do so. ♥ but I don't mind.

  • The Wing Zero of Gundam Seed Destiny.

  • 4:02 got to love that targeting computer....

  • @MasterTobben aimbott? LOL

  • @XlopenX

    I think yes

  • "And the one named Jesus Yamato came down from the heavens, with Strike Freedom on his side, and thus the world was saved." - Seed Destiny 39:15

  • Kira's Wife alway give him the best gundam there is that why Kira love he's bdays :D Kira+Lacus best couple in all gundam series :D.

  • I LOVE the Strike Freedom. but I HATE the damn Jesus Yamato..... he just never dies.....

  • i perfer english voices for gundam seed. but w/e

  • When it comes to Kira's voice,Souchiro Hoshi's version is the best.

Matt Hill's version sounded like a cross between Tobey Macguire and Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy cartoon.

Lacus is fine on both versions though.

  • This series was over right after this scene, GG rest of the world. Jesus Yamato has arrived.

  • there is no jesus ....lol

  • i like it better with the song playing

  • cool

  • On the third day he rose again, with his wife's Gundam after he destroyed his sister's.

  • @twitchykun

The first of which was destroyed by Judas Asuka )=

  • Yeah Kira you can fight. Fight like a total beam spamming pussy.

  • @TheAnimeOverviewer beem spamming would be firing beams aimlessly, he hits his mark...mostly

  • can't wait for december for Strike Freedom's PG treatment. ^_^

  • 4:26 way better then in english.

  • If you stops it around 3:08 Athrun looks like a girl xD

  • Athrun's the best pilot in C.E. anyway, at least in SEED mode.

  • @GrandStaffKatua44 Yeah He is unbeatable while in SEED mode

  • am i the only one who prefers to watch the english dubbed version?

  • wat the strike freedom song

  • Lacus: You were worried about me, yet you took enough time to change the colors on the Strike Rouge?!

    Kira: ........um.....I....love you?

  • if only kira wants to kill.. shinn and his impulse would be his last resort.. no matter what shinn do from his improvements still he has no chance beating kira.. just like athrun told that kira doesn't want to kill just before freedom was destroyed.. shinn is lucky to have his breath..

  • Kira Yamato, Strike Freedom, on my way! ♥♥♥

  • Jesus Yamato, launching! >__<

  • I like Freedom more than Strike Freedom if it's about the looks, especially the wings, its just two piece of things and they took out the cannons that comes out of the wong from freedom, it looks so damn cool with those cannons, but if i'm talking about how strong it is, then defs SF Gundam

  • they rude the music dam it god i hate tv tokyo

  • I think why everyone admires the freedom / strike freedom is because of the ideals and principles it stands for. Something to think about =]

  • shinns just a angry ass punk

Kira wud whip him no sweat if he wanted to kill him

  • If you look at it, the Strike Freedom is an upgraded version of the Hi-Nu Gundam. Except Hi-Nu's Fin Funnels are way cooler!

  • he didnt ride strike rouge

    he ride strike booster =D

  • one thing i like in seed is when the mobile suits are launched from catapults unlike the other series.

  • @chaniey01 they always been launched from catapults

  • @kinggodzilla87 launching catapults from seed looks like epic

  • 1:59 hyu hyu =P

  • The stike-freedom song sounds like jesus coming from heaven lol

  • @Nyappyboy000 Because you've heard the song that plays when Jesus comes down from heaven. Fucking faggot.

  • @aeminence lol dude it's just an expression, no need to get butthurt about it lol

  • @Nyappyboy000 lol that was straight up funny what you just said lol thats true

  • @Nyappyboy000 it fits perfectly in the music

  • @Nyappyboy000 Except...Jesus isn't in heaven lol. Cause he's not the son of God...

  • @njpark36 he is like a God because perfect with all things that is why people call him God...

  • @opt999 Look here guys, we've got a Christian!

Oh you cute little thing, alright, alright, calm down. :D Alright, Jesus IS God, and so is God, and so is the Holy Spirit. Alright, little guy, three in one. Alright, alright. Monotheism, alright, alright.

NO WAIT DON'T KILL YOUR NEIGHBOR CAUSE HE MOWED HIS LAWN ON THE SABBA-

  • @njpark36 sorry man i'm not christian okay...hahaha..silly..

  • @opt999 Lol k. Just in case you are tho, calm down. Deep breaths.

  • @njpark36 hahahaha....

  • @opt999 Seriously tho. Calm down, bud.

  • This scene was way cooler with Vestige as the music in the background.

  • This is a debate?

  • Do note that in the GS strike on Duel, Kira lowered the saber just as he was about to strike, in GSD on Impulse his swing is consistent with his approach and they didn't show him to drop the saber at all.

But either way, we have the screen shots which show just where the strike was going.

  • Shinn was resolved to defeat Kira and engaged Seed Mode in 34. Kira was angry when he went Seed to try and kill Athrun in GS. I'd say that the strong resolve isn't necessarily mutually exclusive with emotions in the Seed mode activation. That is to say, the strong emotion could just be another facet of a strong resolve for something, whether it be taking down an opponent, defending a target, not wanting to die, etc.

  • The kind of plot shielding Kira has is even more blatant than Char's. Shinn's downfall is to be expected because Fukuda said, before he even made Shinn, he wanted to make a character who would ultimately lose everything, which incidentally, was originally going to be Kira in GS, even dying.

Destiny is a very flawed design, one major one I'd note is that is completely relies on its hands for fighting, whereas other MS have weapons equipped that can be used without the use of the hands.

  • Here it goes again, basically, we do not know for certain if Shinn doesn't control his Seed activation, nor do we know that Kira does control his Seed activation. It's just not clear. Ultimate Coordinator doesn't mean dick, he came out of the box with all the intended genes, that's it. Throwing the UC title in there, does nothing.

As you've apparently already read, I've proven he did/does occasionally go for the kill, which happened in a duel with Shinn no less.

  • Basically you're saying, what actually happens in the series isn't as good as what you wish the series was. Essentially, the same criticism that you give to the Shinn fans that wish that Shinn won in the end, only fundamental difference being, they can accept that what they wanted didn't happen.

That's nice, if I wasn't presented the same repetitive argument over and over again, I wouldn't feel the need to put down the same repetitive explanation of the facts over and over again.

  • what episode is this....

    pls. reply

  • Umm.. That's not the mail I gave you.

  • Gundam SEED's combat is almost entirly dependent on the skill of the pilots and not the Gundams themselves.

Athrun has shown to be able to fight on par with people in Gundams when he himself is in a simple Zaku Warrior.

Yes the Gundams themselves do help by giving the pilots the firepower they need but even without it they could still take down almost anything (albet it would take a bit longer) that gets in their way.

Shows like Gundam Wing, and Gundam 00 are the exact opposite of this.

  • I loled. CE Gundam has absolute cannon fodder for grunts, with only a handful of pilots worth a damn. As far as the Gundams being so little of the equation, I'd direct you to GSD 39, in which Kira gets Strike Rouge thrashed by grunts in comparable MS to his own. Which then he gets SF (a VASTLY superior MS to the ZAFT grunts) then he rolls 25+ in about 2 minutes. What's the variable here? ...Oh right, the GUNDAM, NOT Kira's skill!

The Extendeds, Athrun is arguably the best animated CE pilot,

  • also bear in mind, Shinn did save his ass from them however, as they lobbed off his ZAKU's arm and pincered him. Without his intervention, Athrun was probably going to die there. Not to hold it against him, but just a fun little thing to note.

Did you even watch 00? They had some of the best grunts of any timeline, which is the opposite of CE. Initially, Setsuna is good, but there are better pilots, such as Graham, Soma, the Flag Fighters, etc. Sure, 00 they own at first due to their
