Nice job...it doesn't just spin. I've just finished making my first two BEAM bots, both symets, and am having trouble getting them to travel in a straight line.
Each seems to be dragging too much on the caps, and ends up moving in small diameter circles. So they don't do what I've heard they're supposed to: carom off an object, tilt to a different set of axis, then head off in a different direction.
How many volts was the solar cell?
