Excellent tone dude, question, but you're using logic pro to use the impulses and LAconvolver to load it, but what is the actual impulse being used here and where did you get it? Sorry if i do not understand fully and you already mentioned it above, thanks man.

@RICHO20 I'm using behringer FCB1010 the midi cable connected to TC electronic G-Major MIDI out.. So the TC electronic has the RELAY for switching my ENGL Channel.. so I hook another stereo patch cable from G-major relay/footswitch to ENGL footswitch jack.

@ericardo1978 it's on the instruction manual.. it's still function as a mono cable, I think the reason they must use stereo is for the electrical purposes

1/4" plug will short-circuit the poweramp's second channel." That is why I asked it...

@MrDudeface23 in this video mostly I'm doing with direct recording.If you just direct recording from ENGL out, it will sounds Dull. there's an output emulated Too on the back which stimulate the cabinet sounds, but not so nice. in this video I'm using Impulse Cabinet of Diezel and bogner 4x12. hope it helps. cheers

@sl4zhz The more I use impulses the worse I think actual miking sounds unless you have super pre's and mics. Which company did you get your Impulses from. They sound awesome together.

To be honest", the Engl heads sound "OK" to me and I have played the Invader, but I think this preamp Blows away every Engl head amp demo on YT! I would buy an engl pre/power amp before even thinking of one of their heads. But yeah" your 530 sounds great here!

I am a bit confused... I'd like to use a 530 with a normal guitar box, without any poweramp. How exactly do I do this? Switching it (on the rear side) from Headphones to Guitar Cab. But than? Do I need a Stereo Cab, because I am forceed to use a Stereo cable from the Preamp's Poweramp to the Cab? Where will the Cab be plugged in? Into the front HeadphoneOut? Can I use a stereo Cable with a Mono Cab? Thx in advance for your answer :)

@Gehirngewaschener Hey dude.. yes, just use Stereo-stereo cable from the front headphone output. in this video, I'm using stere-stereo cable from the headphone output through blackstar 2x12 MONO 8Ohms. that's fine.

@ooosanteooo I can't remember the exact setting for this video. But I can tell you my favorite cab for redwirez is Soldano 4x12 micking on the Cone 0". it's just sounds right for me and I think it's best suit with my ENGL.

@666quebec666 yeah you can say it's a power amp & Cabinet simulation though.

you're right, it's a Plugins. you need to download the impulse loader like "Voxenggo boogex (Win), LAconcolver (MAC)" after you have the loader, you can load any cabinet you like marshall,mesa,peavey,orange,et­c.

for the video? I'm using ENGL E530 and T.C Electronic G-major, Direct Stereo output through Focusrite Saffire pro40. that's all.

@Vilechild666 I've seen people run full stacks off of 1 watt tube amplifiers. It can be done.

The most important things to know are:

(1) You need high efficiency speakers of 100db or more for it to be effective.

(2) Not much clean headroom or volume.

(3) This is for bedroom playing. You cannot gig with such a rig. If you're going to gig, then get a 50 watt tube power amp.

@sl4zhz ....Im not sure about the magnum 44, I have not heard one live. I use mine direct with impluses and I also use an old all tube carvin b100 with 6l6's. I just plug it into the effects return to bypass the amps own preamp. Peace. †Rasputin†
