White racists thought that black people were inferior simply because they were black. They could have cared less about a black person's deeds or their character, they only cared they their skin was black. Malcolm only made the mistake of looking at the deeds of a certain group of whites and generalizing the whole race.

From as early as 800 B.C., there has been voyage and trade between where modern day Mali is and the Aztec Empires; areas that span from Nigeria to Angola and the Incas. Pockets of Mandingos and people from the expeditions of Sundiata actually remained in what is now Panama, southern Mexico and Venezuela. Agriculture, clothing and religious worship were all shared before Columbus.
