Sasuke didn't get stronger than Neji til shippuden. Neji was the smartest of the konoha 11 and the strongest. Of course Neji doesn't stand a chance NOW! Sasuke is one of my favs but he is just wayy to overpowered. Naruto didn't even really beat Neji because it's plot structured. Neji did more against kidomaru than Naruto and won. Too much of a genius.They need to give Neji more jutsu.
Neji only long range attack is airpalm, thats not going to do much to mr. susano, amarasteru, w.e else that corrupted eye can see. Pure ninja skills goes to neji, he taught himself everything, sasuke had to be trained and powered up. So neji's lable as a genius stands bright. Sasuke is a genius as well, a genius of finding ways to corrupt himself with power, that bitch can barely see the light of day.

Oh please, I'm also a fan of Neji but we all know Sasuke wins for sure if they made a battle. Sasuke's amaterasu, chidori(and all the justu's with chidori) his tai-justu, genjustu PLUS :SPOILER: when Itachi died Sasuke received powers of Itachi who are incredible strong. Neji only had his Tai-jutsu mixed with Nin justu. Neji doesn't stand a chance against Sasuke.
@BuzziMuzzi lol i dont think he needs any of those powers to beat neji. I think the easiest way to beat him is to distract neji's front with shuriken mabe and then use his speed to get behind him and kill him with a stab ( since byakugan has a blind spot)
well in the fight you were acting out I don't think that Neji would use the force push he would probably use the rotation since it would hit, grind and damage him more. but I think Sasuke's normal chidori would be on par with it and cancel out the rotation, but if he went curse mark or mangekyou depending on what time period you want, the black chidori or amaterasu/susano would probably break the rotation and that's the only defense he has (keep in mind I mean physical defense not strategy)
Neji would win because he is smarter! He's a flipping genious! Sasuke would put up nice fight, but in the end neji would win because of 360* vision (byakugan)

And even if Sasuke can't dodge Neji's attack, he's smart enough not to fight in close range. Byakugan is only useful in close combat and it's disadvantageous. WTF is the Mangekyou Sharingan for? Sasuke can just use the Tsukoyomi torture or Amaterasu on Neji and Neji will end up lying in the hospital or dead.

@darKbla23 I think that Neji's byakugan may be his weakness when it comes to Sasuke. Since he has 360 vision, he would be able to find Sasuke even when Sasuke is hiding, and when he's scanning the area to look for Sasuke, he may look into his eyes and get caught in his Genjutsu. I'm not saying he will get caught, but he may.
I'm gonna have to say Neji. Even though Sasuke can see his strikes coming that doesn't mean he is fast enough to dodge or stop them. Like what happened when he fought Killer Bee and almost got killed, plus he had Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke is fast but not as fast as Lee who is Neji's teammate. If Neji gets close Sasuke's chakra network is shutdown. On the other hand Sasuke has his Mangekyo Sharingan with Amaterasu and Susanoo that shoots arrows, it would be an epic battle.

Sasuke would fucking decimate Neji. Even IF Neji got the first strike, Sasuke would probably already have his sharingan up, creating some genjutsu. And IF Neji breaks out of that, Neji would be way too slow for Sasuke. Granted, Neji is fast as hell is his tornado thing, but Sasuke is faster all around.
Sasuke can also see chakra and has predictive abilities, so unlike Neji Sasuke can see things slightly before they happen, not as they happen like Neji. This gives him a distinct advantage in Taijutsu battles. He'd be able to see air palm coming before Neji did it and since fire beats air, grand fireball would probably be used. Its yet to be seen whether or not rotation can deflect energy based attacks like fire or lighting. Neji relies on rotation alot so that could be the end right there.
At sasukes's level neji doesn't stand a chance. sasuke's eyes are way too powerful for him to handle. His sharingan plus amaterasu, plus sasano, fire and lightning techniques. pretty convincing i'd say
actually deidara was weaker than sasori. he was sasoris pupil deidara was under sasori. i give you credit that sasuke would of never beaten deidara without lightning justu but when it all comes down to it deidara was going to die one way or another. sasuke couldve killed deidara any time he wanted but he was trying to find itachi at the moment so he needed deidara alive thats why he didnt kill him as fast enough. and technically he didnt kill deidara , he defeated him , deidara killed himself.

He was only under Sasori because Sasori was older and he joined akatsuki before deidara.
Sasuke should die when deidara used his last jutsu because he couldn`t do all that with little(or no) chakra.
Besides,you ve seen Gaara vs. Deidara.Deidara won but Gaara used more than half of his chakra to save the village, it wasn`t fair.(just saying there are multiple factors that makes one win a battle,not just their strenght.)

When this video was made, he did give plenty of valid points. However, Sasuke was not as powerful back then. At the point that he's talking about, Neji probably would have beaten Sasuke in a fight. However, with recent mangas, Sasuke has proven to be a lot more powerful. So, even if you did only follow the characters' techniques, Sasuke would destroy Neji.

@atruepimp1 thats so dumb.mangekyo enhances the ability for lets say itachi is mostly a genjutsu user,so mangekyo enhances his genjutsu to the extreme of tsukiyomi.hes dominant ninjutsus are fire style,so mangekyo enhances it to amaterasu. neji stands no chance with the likes of amaterasu(burn instantly).what makes u think that genjutsu doesnt work on byakugan?thats completely bull rofl. as itachi said,the mangekyo genjutsu can only be countered by another sharingan user(not breaking out of it)

Sasuke can be cocky that his entire clan characteristic. Neji clan is more humble so therefore he should be the way of his people, but when you really look at it at any given time either one of them could win it all that matters is who cause is stronger and will is greater at the time of battle. Every fight is not all physical it is mental to, and the mental has a large factor.

hmmm,but answer this,how else could naruto "fool" neji into thinking he won the fight by placing a clone on top...when his chakra was sealed.I'll tell you how,the fox. neji would have no reason to deactivate his byakugan if naruto had no chakra to use, because naruto couldnt come up with any tricks, he didnt use the fox when he punched neji, but he did use it to replenish his chakra, thus allowing him to make a Kage Bunshin to trick neji. IMO, Naruto didn't win that fight fair and square

Oh please, I'm also a fan of Neji but we all know Sasuke wins for sure if they made a battle. Sasuke's amaterasu, chidori(and all the justu's with chidori) his tai-justu, genjustu PLUS :SPOILER: when Itachi died Sasuke received powers of Itachi who are incredible strong. Neji only had his Tai-jutsu mixed with Nin justu. Neji doesn't stand a chance against Sasuke.

@BuzziMuzzi lol i dont think he needs any of those powers to beat neji. I think the easiest way to beat him is to distract neji's front with shuriken mabe and then use his speed to get behind him and kill him with a stab ( since byakugan has a blind spot)

well in the fight you were acting out I don't think that Neji would use the force push he would probably use the rotation since it would hit, grind and damage him more. but I think Sasuke's normal chidori would be on par with it and cancel out the rotation, but if he went curse mark or mangekyou depending on what time period you want, the black chidori or amaterasu/susano would probably break the rotation and that's the only defense he has (keep in mind I mean physical defense not strategy)

@darKbla23 Both Neji and Sasuke are genies but we can all see throughout the series Sasuke is considered and was mentioned to be more outstanding cause he's in the Uchiha clan. And even if Sasuke can't dodge Neji's attack, he's smart enough not to fight in close range. Byakugan is only useful in close combat and it's disadvantageous. WTF is the Mangekyou Sharingan for? Sasuke can just use the Tsukoyomi torture or Amaterasu on Neji and Neji will end up lying in the hospital or dead.

Neji has demonstrated immense agility and anatomical ubiquitty that Sasuke simply hasn't.
Quite frankly it's inconceivable that Sasuke can evade the entirety of Neji's executions, one successful establishment being all Neji requires to enervate any enemy. Who would win, dare I say easily/

@darKbla23 I think that Neji's byakugan may be his weakness when it comes to Sasuke. Since he has 360 vision, he would be able to find Sasuke even when Sasuke is hiding, and when he's scanning the area to look for Sasuke, he may look into his eyes and get caught in his Genjutsu. I'm not saying he will get caught, but he may.

I'm gonna have to say Neji. Even though Sasuke can see his strikes coming that doesn't mean he is fast enough to dodge or stop them. Like what happened when he fought Killer Bee and almost got killed, plus he had Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke is fast but not as fast as Lee who is Neji's teammate. If Neji gets close Sasuke's chakra network is shutdown. On the other hand Sasuke has his Mangekyo Sharingan with Amaterasu and Susanoo that shoots arrows, it would be an epic battle.

Sasuke would fucking decimate Neji. Even IF Neji got the first strike, Sasuke would probably already have his sharingan up, creating some genjutsu. And IF Neji breaks out of that, Neji would be way too slow for Sasuke. Granted, Neji is fast as hell is his tornado thing, but Sasuke is faster all around.

Sasuke can also see chakra and has predictive abilities, so unlike Neji Sasuke can see things slightly before they happen, not as they happen like Neji. This gives him a distinct advantage in Taijutsu battles. He'd be able to see air palm coming before Neji did it and since fire beats air, grand fireball would probably be used. Its yet to be seen whether or not rotation can deflect energy based attacks like fire or lighting. Neji relies on rotation alot so that could be the end right there.

actually deidara was weaker than sasori. he was sasoris pupil deidara was under sasori. i give you credit that sasuke would of never beaten deidara without lightning justu but when it all comes down to it deidara was going to die one way or another. sasuke couldve killed deidara any time he wanted but he was trying to find itachi at the moment so he needed deidara alive thats why he didnt kill him as fast enough. and technically he didnt kill deidara , he defeated him , deidara killed himself.

He was only under Sasori because Sasori was older and he joined akatsuki before deidara.
Sasuke should die when deidara used his last jutsu because he couldn`t do all that with little(or no) chakra.
Besides,you ve seen Gaara vs. Deidara.Deidara won but Gaara used more than half of his chakra to save the village, it wasn`t fair.(just saying there are multiple factors that makes one win a battle,not just their strenght.)

As I said before neji would win because early on in the series they say that the byakugan is the elder of the 2 and that the sharingan is probably decended from the byakugan and not only that neji is basically the itachi of the hyuga clan where as sasuke only became good after being trained by one of the sanin (orochimaru) and even then he only beat his brother because itachi let him win neji was always a prodigy

When this video was made, he did give plenty of valid points. However, Sasuke was not as powerful back then. At the point that he's talking about, Neji probably would have beaten Sasuke in a fight. However, with recent mangas, Sasuke has proven to be a lot more powerful. So, even if you did only follow the characters' techniques, Sasuke would destroy Neji.

it would be hard to tell how it would work really man i kno neji is undercut for sure.......... but can he deflect the fire of sasake i meen it to me depends on the situation and who knows what about the enemy its hard to even imagine who would win .. i meen both eyes can see shit , there both fast, both telanted, i hope they have them fight in the manga at some point .... plus sasake has genjustu so im not sure neji could counter it i meen kakashi couldnt, lol gui could, i could go either way

emmm dude sorry to say this but Mangeyou not just genjutsu it also have the powerful ninjutsu in existence. sorry to say this but neji will never able to strike sasuke, by using susanoo and amaterasu as his shield like he did at raikage, neji will turn into fried chicken in no time lol

honestly im with you on this and ill even take it one step further Neji would be the winner and the reason is the main claim to fame of the uchiha clan is the fact that the Sharingan allows them really good reaction time and in the case of mangenkyo its extreme genjutsu ability.genjutsu obviously would have no effect on neji and if he at all got into strike range any one of his blows could seriously hamper sasuke's ability to fight,also as a child he rivaled hiashi's technique and now he's jonin

@atruepimp1 thats so dumb.mangekyo enhances the ability for lets say itachi is mostly a genjutsu user,so mangekyo enhances his genjutsu to the extreme of tsukiyomi.hes dominant ninjutsus are fire style,so mangekyo enhances it to amaterasu. neji stands no chance with the likes of amaterasu(burn instantly).what makes u think that genjutsu doesnt work on byakugan?thats completely bull rofl. as itachi said,the mangekyo genjutsu can only be countered by another sharingan user(not breaking out of it)

@soilworker257 i agree.Sasuke is like as fast as lightning.Neji still got lightning fast reflexive but sasuke is still faster.He can beat him with Curse mark or Mangekyou sharingan.Either way Neji is dead.

But I don't agree with EndSage statement about Neji losing against Naruto. Neji lost because he was arrogant. Sasuke can be cocky that his entire clan characteristic. Neji clan is more humble so therefore he should be the way of his people, but when you really look at it at any given time either one of them could win it all that matters is who cause is stronger and will is greater at the time of battle. Every fight is not all physical it is mental to, and the mental has a large factor.

hmmm,but answer this,how else could naruto "fool" neji into thinking he won the fight by placing a clone on top...when his chakra was sealed.I'll tell you how,the fox. neji would have no reason to deactivate his byakugan if naruto had no chakra to use, because naruto couldnt come up with any tricks, he didnt use the fox when he punched neji, but he did use it to replenish his chakra, thus allowing him to make a Kage Bunshin to trick neji. IMO, Naruto didn't win that fight fair and square

The storyline is mainly about Naruto because he is the strongest ninja with the best story, there's a reason the story is about Naruto and not Neji, because Neji isn't the strongest ninja and main story, Naruto is. For example if you watch a movie and you think what are the chances of this happening, well it could happen with someone and that person is that someone thats why the stories about that person. The stories not about Neji because he's not that person Naruto is.Your just a Neji fan.
