To the two people that could not understand of what I was trying to state was the performance of a grown elite thrower and a new thrower that I have. Discus and shot pot are in the same sport. They are just different events in the same sport. Checkout the throwing website deepthrows. It may help you out since there are some people that ask for advice and some people will tend to help.

professional guys use heavier shots (16 lbs) than high school kids(12 lbs). the high school record is 81' 3" so ya throwing 72' as a sophmore is really impressive but that doesnt put him anywhere near the world record if thats what your trying to say
