It is a Pearl classic sensitone II. 5.5 x 14 with a remo hazy snare side and a coated ambassador on top.

Hmm, pretty nice BUT, the hi-hat pattern was awful. And that section where drums are alone... that straight playing didn't sound good. And some fills was awful. In principle that was still good performance.

Keep on drumming. Especially when it comes to funk. For me, theres no better genre than funk. Its a really relaxing style to play too, and it shows in your drumming. If this video didn't say Fran Merante, I would have honestly thought you were my older brother.

Absolutely he is!! I hope I didn't give you the impression that I was the originator of this style. That would be a foolish foolish statement on my part. I am just trying to play the tune in the TOP style the best that I can. I believe I mention that this style was made poplular by Dave Garibaldi in the previous TOP tune I played to and posted.
