This was before soap opera magazines and internet sites leaked everything that was going to happen. Cliffhangers actually kept you in suspense which was fun. Now you would know weeks ahead of time that Margo would reach out to Tom. There are no delightful surprises or unexpected heartbreaks or startling events. No wonder hardly anyone watches anymore (including me).
You mean Frannie and Sabrina both couldn't be around the piano, at Kim & Bob's? -:) (LOL!) I liked how this Christmas Eve episode played out, with a lot of alluding to Christmas miracles (Craig still being alive, Lily's reaction to both Lucinda & Iva, & move towards Margo & Tom reconciling) w/out those miracles being out of nowhere or hitting us over the head (unlike what we have w/ current soap opera writers).
LOVE the ending credits!

I was waiting for Tom to kiss Margo. No such luck. But it was a great episode anyway!

If the storytelling was solid, no amount of spoilers could keep viewers away.
