  • actually those mice had in the first normal genetics in the second 1 strength limiter gene removed and in the third both strength limiting gens removed i am obsessed with this stuff also there have been humans born with one of the strength limiting genes removed the doctor was called case the baby was moving around allot he found it to have significantly more muscle then a normal baby some types of racing dogs are breed to be missing one of these genes so that they can be strong and fast

  • nice!

  • First get your facts straight. That featherless chicken came from a spontaneous mutation that was discovered (not created) and selected for. Mutation, yes. Genetically modified, NO!

  • @Zzzzzzap1001 Sorry. I am going to change it in the description right now.

  • It's pretty easy to spot the corporate shills on these boards. Another peice of the puzzle for those intelligent enough to listen. Search this:

Senomyx - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There IS a major food conspiracy on the planet and as long as people maintain their attitude of apathy, indifference and complacency, it will continue to get worse! All REAL food will slowly disappear.

  • @Werelion2367 lol, my design specs are part squid, part dolphin, several insects, and quite a few machine interfaces. Jellyfish technology forming an integrated hybrotic prosthesis. A homunculus ^_^ any resemblance to a human is aesthetic camouflage :D

  • They should create zombies

  • i thought myostatin restricted muscle growth?

and myostatin inhibitors were used on the rats?

  • I heard that if you eat 36 eggs a day it would be like taking a dose of steroids because of natural Myostatin inhibitors in eggs that help them grow.

  • @Werelion2367 how the **** does that even answer the guy's question or relate to anything he said?

  • @ScopedOUT2 I guess it does not though. Its hard to give timely answers when youtube does not send comments notifications when too many comments a posted within a short amount of time.

  • @Werelion2367 Now you're just creating excuses for yourself.

  • Corporations like Monsanto are playing God and we will all pay!

  • @RandyBful1 what is "playing god"? That is the excuse I keep hearing monkeys use to justify limiting their own advancement.

  • Mighty Mouse in real life.

  • Lmfao at the Rabbit.. Is that even real? O_o Cuz' I'd want one if it was real!! xD

  • @00WatermelonMan00 Yes, its real.

  • @Werelion2367

I think I get your point. And what if JoaoPedrods17 who is in favor of GMOs had been born genetically modified with fluorescent eyes (like they did with cats) or without hands and feet, would he still favor GMOs? Do we have the right to do modify genetically and destroy lives of animals to supposedly save human lives? Sorry, but we have the obligation to respect all lives, not just ours.

  • I hope that scientist start to modify humans genes

  • We do not have the right to modify God's creation. It is sacred. Quran prophecized this crime in sura 4:119 where satan pledged he would entice some human beings to modify God's creation. Visit the site called "islamrevolution" and read the article entitled "tampering with creation".

  • @PIERRE6619 gtfo with this "gods creation" bull shit please

  • lol rly dude? f-off. this is scientific progression; genetic modification is allowing us to cure diseases we thought un-curable and to further advance our knowledge. before genetic modification, diabetics were forced to inject pig insulin for gods sake. now, we can easily and cheaply produce insulin commercially, thanks to GM

  • You said f.off: We obviously do not share the same values. May the peace be upon you. Scientific progress is great but not at any cost, and certainly not at the expense of distorting God's creation. If you do not believe in God, then there is no reason for us to discuss. Go eat wheat mixed with scorpion genes or rice mixed with human genes and you will deserve the consequences.

    Peace.

  • u clearly have absolutely no idea wat ur talking about. in terms of genetic modification at least. if u dont know how it works, dont try to bring it down. especially seeing as genetic modification is more then likely going to be the answer to auto immune diseases, HIV/AIDS and multiple other problems

  • I know exactly what I am talking about. Scientists have no idea of the impact of their mad science on nature and no debate is proposed to the public on this satanic scheme. What are we going to do if hurabs (rabbits partially humans) are released by accident in nature? You do not address any issues sir. There are clean ways to save lives, we do not need mad science.

  • lol hurabs dont exist...and even if they were, they probably wouldnt survive considering most genetically modified animals arent suited to living in nature. and well, if you have an alternate solution to curing autoimmune diseases, be my guest,,,to be honest, i have a feeling that you dont even know what that means

  • Hurabs have been created over 10 years ago. In 2007 mad scientists from the university of Nevada created a "chimera", a sheep 15% human. Imagine the disaster if the chimera reproduces with normal sheep. Same for GMOs: rice contaminated with human genes often contaminates parent crops through pollination. The alibi is always the same: create new medecine or solve world hunger, the real agenda is CASH, lots of CASH, and at what cost for planet earth !!!

  • hahaha omg u have no idea how GMO's work do u? they cant reproduce. to begin with. and there is no such thing as 'human genes'. all genes u find in the human body u find in other organisms as well. u cant be '15%' human. and who cares what the motives are; as long as the end solution is the same, its all good. maybe thats how religion started too. the motives of prophets were to impose their values on others possibly. maybe god dsnt even exist. dsnt mean the lessons they teach are any less good

  • You simply prove you did not study the subject. GMOs do reproduce through pollination process and contaminate parent crops in at least 10% of cases. Monsanto, the famous GMO/biotech giant sued many farmers whose non GM crops had been contaminated by their patented GMOs against their will (because of cross pollination) and won lawsuits condemning them to pay monetary damages for patent infringment (!!!) Do your reasearch !!!

  • i was referring to animals. and GMO's can be modified to not reproduce at all. and u clearly do not know the science behind it

  • @JoaoPedrods17

You obviously did not study the subject as I have, moreover you claim you know what you are talking about and you absolutely don't. Do you think GMO companies care about making sure their GMO crops do not reproduce? Of course they don't. On the other hand, Monsanto even does own technology to create "terminator" seeds, seeds which second generations is sterile, to force farmers never to replant for free has it has always been our God given right. It is all about CASH and power.

  • @PIERRE6619 god given right?

hahaha fuck god and all the rights you morons claim to have LOL

  • @PIERRE6619 Monsanto even does own technology to create "terminator" seeds, seeds which second generations is sterile ...

    Actually, Syngenta owns that patent.

Monsanto's patent is on the ability to introduce a trait (bollguard which repells the boll weevil) to be present in the plant grown from the seed but then prevent that trait from being passed to the next generation.

The seed will sprout and grow just fine, but won't have the bollguard protection.

    Les

  • @PIERRE6619 "God's Creation" is horribly flawed and poorly designed. I could do better at 0.00013% optimal intelligence. If a god created all of this then it was not very smart ^_^

  • 0:03 KFC anyone?

  • Aaaaaaa.....This is the end..... You all must die!!! Stop doing this!!

  • Hypothetical: Have any of you guys seen that episode of the Xfiles where there's a human-like lifesize white wormlike creature that lives in the sewer? I know it was just TV, but do you think scientists secretly have ever tried to create human type lifeforms with genetic engineering? I bet a lot goes on that we don't know about, & no telling what has really been created and modified in the past few years.

  • I think the technology already exists in some forms but is not being used. For example I think that scientists could infuse animal cells on a human embryo and create a human, that could have fur on some areas on their skin. But their body might reject the foreign cells leading to a possibly nonviable individual.

  • @Werelion2367 embryo cells do not reject their chimeric brothers. The foreign cells are incorporated as part of the body. It happens with fraternal twins all the time. A few cells get transposed between non-identical twins creating chimeric hybrids of the two.

  • @Marta7350: Anyone who doesn't believe that the government is tampering with genetics on humans, just like Monsanto is doing with the agriculture, is obviously not capable of thinking outside the box. Anyone with half a brain would realize that the military is working on developing the "super soldier". It's called human nature.

  • @RandyBful1, how interesting.

  • @Marta7350 you know people like you are called paranoid delusional

  • All of this is INCREDIBLY DISTURBING & what's scarier is the response from all of the dumb, deaf & blind lost ones who are OK with all of this Babylonian nonsense.

  • I'm trying not to be funny when I say this, but once we get to the point where we can grow chicken meat and beef steak in a lab without using animals that would be a large improvement. The technology will probably be here with in 30 years

  • My friend also told me that beef is in the process of being grown in petri dishes

  • Those mice look scary strong.

  • We also have genetically modified plants. US scientists are working flat out to eliminate estrogen like compounds from soy. I wish them all the best. Although I am not a vegetarian, I believe any GE work to make foods safer to eat is worth the effort,

  • I would love a glowing cat... that could fly, and save me money on gas!

  • The rabbit is real...we did it in biology with e. coli, by inserting a glowing gene and they turned all luminous...also somewhere there are some glow in the dark pigs lol

  • rabbit is real - Google Alba and Eduardo Kac

  • the rabbit looks tight!

  • they are all real

  • a goat and a sheep isnt a geep or whatever he/she said i live of in a place called thargomindah (aka thargo and surounded but animals of all kinds... sheep cows horses r the mains) and we get that and they dont look like that they just look the same and SOMETIMES the goat will have wolly hair

  • Its nice to know that my videos are being watched by people outside the US. Anyways vist the Australian Government website Csiro, thats way I got some pictures from.

  • ahhh ok sorry i thought it was some random pictre things also thanks for not being a bitch to me from what i said... like critasising u... well i didnt mean to, but thanks :)

  • actually the rabbit is real, i dunno about the other pictures shown but i do know about the rabbit. i was learning about transgenic in art and the teacher gave us a task on the rabbit.

  • This shit is so fake.

  • prove it

  • Prove that it's real.

  • A genetically modified organism (GMO) or genetically engineered organism (GEO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. These techniques are generally known as recombinant DNA technology. With this technology, DNA molecules from different sources are combined into one molecule to create a new set of genes. This DNA is then transferred into an organism, giving it modified or novel traits.

  • u dont hav proof its not, its been happening for years, hav u seen GUINESS WORLD RECORDS? its there

  • Guiness is shit. Prove to me some other way that it's real.

  • Guiness is shit. Prove to me some other way that it's real.

  • Recombinant DNA technology.

  • the glowing rabbit is cool

  • WAT?!

    FLUORESCENT BUNNIES????

  • The problem is that we know far to less about genetic engeeniring right now so we can't control it, just try it out. And so the animals have to suffer a lot so that we humans can have a glowing rabbit...

  • Just imagine... sheep growing wool 20 times faster than their normal rate, cows producing milk faster, harvesting energy from photosynthisis, harnessing the power of spider silk, growing corn or wheat plants that are immune to locust, disease, weather, and can be grwon any time of the year, and still be faster, human enhancement, perhaps we could even breed creatures that could aide us in terraforming other planets? We are playing god now, let us flourish and prosper!

  • THAT CHICKEN IS READY TO BE COOCKED!

  • dats a rooster

  • that bunny was pretty freakin sweet! =D

  • can you send this to me so i can download it for a project for school?? This would really help

  • sorry for the long reply (i just got my first job). I can't not send you the file or the powerpoint, because it was on my hard drive that burned up. Sorry

  • lol, mighty mouse

  • alba the gfp bunny is indeed real

  • iv'e heard of most of these. read Michael Chriton's book Next. it's very informative on genetic engineering and is based mostly on fact.

  • Now as twisted as some of this may look and sound imagine the kind of bones you would have if you implemented the spiders protein it uses in it's web and had that in human bones.

You'd have REALLY strong bones I'm guessing...

  • so sad

  • I also think it is. Scientists can give themselves the best reasons for trying such crazy things and some experiments may indeed be useful to humanity, but I suspect that most of the time (like in this case), many of those guys playing with genetics are just like big kids with a Frankenstein syndrom, who create monsters to prove they can or I don't know what else. Poor creatures...

  • not rlly in order to understand a recent field has genetics you have to go and try simply. yo uare asking ppl to by pur eintelect withotu experiment totally understand a system and predict it. Havent know no1 smart enough 4 that so far

  • I agree that in some cases, like when human life is in danger, it can be necessary to test on animals before trying on a person. But I don't believe a second that all the experiments shown in this video truly had an important purpose. To me, that's just playing with life.

  • it may seem but its not..by manipulating thsese gens they can see what on their techniques work and what doesnt.. they are actually using gens that are likely to not interfer with the life of the animal..imagine they decided to start with brain or heart gens..that could lend to some suffering..better try with close but inoffensive sets of gens then with some they know are vital..

  • I don't really believe the rabbit, that one looks odd. I do believe and have seen glow in the dark cats though.

  • that indivdual picture might be fake, but in highschool for a lab, our class insterted plasmids (its like dna for bacteria) into bacteria to make them glow using jellyfish genes that allow jellyfish to glow!

  • no, it's real.

  • love this stuff

  • Those things always interested me.

  • Wow, that stuff is crazy.
