  • i agree it needs more dungeons and dragons looks better more variety similar random map tiles heroes with abilities and you can put em alltogether and have a huge variety of gameplay and not to mention alot more monsters

  • "look at his nice axe there..."

  • There's 13 more scenarios on their website.

  • Fighting demons might be a bit lame, but at least they're not zombies.

  • Decent game if you are looking for a simpler dungeon crawler. 45-60 minutes real play time, and it's muuuuuch easier to get into than Space Hulk.

  • Very funny game, from our country : France.

  • I give them props for doing something different. Descent feels somewhat like a simplistic D&D (at least for the adventurers) and Space Hulk/Doom/etc all have a lot in common in terms of gameplay. This feels pretty original and that is something that these type of games really need.

  • This ended up being a really good couples game for me. I could play the slightly more complex Troglodytes and my partner can play the slightly less complex Heroes. It worked out to a nice experience for us.

  • i am playing sunday and will be recording part of our session and putting it up on youtube.

  • I think those creature and hero card mechanics are neat. Though like Tom I wonder if there is enough variation in the missions and characters...

  • typical game will last for about 45minutes to 1 hour.

Each month there will be one mission available to download from asmodee (there're already two new scenarios). There will be even scanario for 3 players.

I like this game quite a lot

  • I also thought of Descent when I saw this game.

How long does a typical game last?

  • A game is about an hour.

The first may be more like two, depending on how well one of you has read the rules (O:

I really like the flavor of games like Descent, but, I dislike tactical grid play (retreating to one square past where the enemy can get to you, etc...). This does away with that by just having "rooms," instead of a grid.

  • And it is not Descent :))

Yeah, i like those chars "formula d" type cards idea. At first i thought it would be to measure you experience :)

  • Look's good - would like to try before i buy though

  • Pretty interesting. I'm hoping there is more re playability with this game than there was with Tannhauser.
