@courtneyspunkinpatch Not a bad idea... would be rather defensible, just would have to make sure you brought plenty of provisions along with, weapons that didn't require ammo so you wouldn't have to worry about running out... set a 24-hour guard at the entrance, and since only one zombie could really fit through at a time, pretty easy to keep them out. (I swear that place has SO much potential for short films...)

My hometown used to be the supply center for a bunch of little mining towns in the area, so there's a lot of old mining ruins and stuff about. It's definitely not safe to explore them since at least one closed due to collapsing tunnels, but it's still fun to see what all is left on the surface and such.
