I've had 2 colds since I came to the UK already and I've only been here a couple of months! I really don't know all of the brands here, but I've been using Kleenex Balsam tissues. They are really good, but no matter what kind you use your nose always seem to feel really raw by the end of your cold or flu. I do like that they have HUGE tissues here too that are like double the size of regular ones lol I keep feeling like I'm about to set up a picnic blanket when I take one out of the box!

I have no nostrils, so I do not get a runny nose. I did have to wipe some washer fluid off of my face one day, and someone thought it would be funny to hand me some sandpaper. I still have a flat spot on one cheek.

Almost 100%! I'd say I'm back to 97% already! I tried to beat that up before it had a chance to get comfortable. I basically did nothing but rest and drink OJ for all of yesterday though!

Sorry to say but I fear you have a cold :( Everyone at work is also coming down with a cold. I don't know if you infected them or vice-versa. To make matters worse it looks like that Puffs box has about 1000 tissues in it.

Pro tip: tissues with lotion are bad for cleaning glasses...

And I believe that tissue creators have an internal competition to see who can design the ugliest possible tissue box. I really am alarmed sometimes at the ugliness of the boxes.

Yes, tissue boxes are so ugly it doesn't really matter which box you grab off the shelf. Strange I walked out with a blue box, though - blue wouldn't be the first color I would gravitate towards naturally. I was feeling pretty awful at that moment!!

Oh yea I will stay away from the lotion tissue when it comes to cleaning my glasses. I stay away from non-glasses-cleaning cloths so I think I am safe. :)

If nobody is around I'll stick some tissue up my nose and just leave it there and I'll change it for new tissue as needed. Keeps me from rubbing my face raw.

HAha I was totally wearing the tissue nose for a bit there, it was like a faucet I couldn't turn off!! Plus you are right, less wiping is way better. Too bad I couldn't sport the tissue nose at work, when this all started (forcing me to use scratchy, inferior products on my sweet little nose, haha)!

I feel your pain, I am currently struggling with a really bad head cold.

My mum told me to go and get some Vitamin A cream, you put on your sore raw bits on your nose and it makes blowing your nose not as painful. You can get it from a chemist or the baby or fem products section in your food grocery store.

I use toilet paper when I don't need lotion tissues, but my nose was WRECKED (and still is) so I had to go for the lotion ones!! Basically they are regular tissues with lotion infused in them! They do a decent job at keeping your nose from getting too dry.
