It actually lays the foundation for a deeper understanding of the world and humanity. As it is above, so is it below. The sun, moon and stars were set in place by Creator and speak to his creation. They have failed to discern that God's moral law does not change regardless of changing societal norms. Jesus took the Pharisees back to Genesis 2 when talking about marraige between a man and a woman. He did not go to Genesis 6. Gen6 deals with sin filling the earth, which included sexual immorality. Only Noah and his family was saved. Ministries must alway refer to Scripture to enforce their fundamental beliefs. Pearson missed the shift for him, he should be leading COGIC and not in exile.
Hello there. I usually don't comment on things like this because everyone has issues. However, when you begin to teach that you don't have to get saved, that everyone is already saved then we have a problem because it's opposed to the Word. Why preach? Why pray? Why even try to live right if everyone gets to go to glory.
It's about realizing that you have ALREADY been saved because of Christ's propitiation for sin and not by something you did. The Lamb was slain BEFORE the foundation of the world, that BEFORE is in reference to time because if it wasn't then that would mean that where He was slain was the actual FOUNDATION that the world rested on. Why preach and pray? To let the rest of the world know that God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only so that the WORLD would be saved, that's everyone!

Why do you call the "Gehenna references" ridiculous? Gehenna was a perfect visual cue to scare the hell "into" people. A place where the worm dieth not and everlasting fire. Both items could almost undoubtedly be found there between the burning of trash and the rotting of food and corpses that were disposed of there.
It's ridiculous because it's a false twist on scripture. Hell is real, not a visual aid. If all were saved, why mention a conceptual punishment anyway? The concept of an eternal barbecue pit that many Christians cling to wasn't even mentioned until St. Augustine created it in the 4th century. And if hell is real then why didn't God think to mention it to Adam and Eve as He was warning them to not eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?
Yes. But the fall of (Adam)Man had a purpose. If man never fell then there would not have been a need for a savior in the first place. If there was never a need for a savior then Christ would have never needed to sacrifice Himself to pay the sin debt.
We ALL have been born again. The problem is that not ALL have realized it. Christ paid the sin debt in FULL. If that doesn't include ALL then the debt has not been PAID. It is great to believe, but the greater truth is that even if you don't believe it matters little, because God BELIEVES IN YOU. He believed in you and me and everyone else so much that He sent His only son to pay a debt that we are incapable of paying by ourselves.
Lucifer's "rebellion" was rebellion according to his own point of view as well as the rest of creation. But that doesn't mean it was the Creator's opinion too. If God stood at the beginning and saw the end then could it be possible that it wasn't truly rebellion? What if Lucifer and the 1/3 were only following God's "script"? If they did what God wanted them to do then could they truly be punished? Judas did his part.... What do you think would have happened if he hadn't betrayed Jesus?
Is God a liar? He has chosen not to violate the will of his creation. He could make us, but because of his love and desire for true worship, he gives us the oppertunity to chose him of our own volition. God's plan will ALWAYS work. After Christ's resurrection, Letters (epistles) were written to the church to instruct on how to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. If there was no consequence, there would be no reason for instruction!! Why repent if I'm going to heaven anyway? To tell others? Why do they need to know if they are already secured? Let the rapists, murderers, liars, child molestors, and all other sinners who fail to repent squirm a little since God will let them all off the hook come judgement!

When you word it that way it is foolish. Anyone who thinks they are justified to do whatever they want just because they have already been saved is missing the point. The point is to know that you are saved already and be at peace with yourself, and KNOW that God loves everyone...even YOU! Once the burden of condemantion is removed a person can then focus on living a good, just, and holy life. Nothing beats the human psyche down quite like thinking that you are worthless to both God AND man!
This is the only thing that makes sense. If you believe in "free choice' your a sucker. Predestination is real and that is why I like the gospel of inclusion as it is the only thing that makes sense.
There are consequences and punishment for bad decisions and I believe that to be what Hell is. People rebel because they think they are "getting away" with something. If they realize what Christ has done for us ALL then they can see that there is NO NEED to rebel and they can then draw themselves closer to God.
God's word is infallible, those who wrote it all down were not. The bible is a two-edged sword. It is written in a way so as to rally Christians around it, but it is also written vaguely enough to be subject to misinterpretation. The fact of the matter is you see it one way and I see it another, and we both believe ourselves to be correct. But you know as well as I do that the COMPLETE TRUTH will not be made known to us until we hear it from God firsthand.
Things are shifting, but not when it pertains to the gospel. Christians MUST discern what things need to change, and what needs to say the same. Someone once said, methods change, but principles stay the same. God's moral law does not change regardless of social change in a given society. Our socieity embraces pre-marital and homosexual sexual behavior. Within the community of faith, these are prohibited though many faith traditions in Christianity are CHANGING thier positions. They have failed.

It actually lays the foundation for a deeper understanding of the world and humanity. As it is above, so is it below. The sun, moon and stars were set in place by Creator and speak to his creation. Never did I believe when my grandmother was teaching me of this day that a COGIC ordained Minister would go this way. Yet, I must say that I this Man has courage and is a very articulate Minister. He uses the anointing that's favored on him to reach a crowd that they otherwise would not even listen to Holiness Ministers. It surely break traditions. Hey if this guy can bring many to Christ in an indirect manner so be it. God knows how to get people in. And put us all in check when we go to far.

They have failed to discern that God's moral law does not change regardless of changing societal norms. Jesus took the Pharisees back to Genesis 2 when talking about marraige between a man and a woman. He did not go to Genesis 6. Gen6 deals with sin filling the earth, which included sexual immorality. Only Noah and his family was saved. Ministries must alway refer to Scripture to enforce their fundamental beliefs. Pearson missed the shift for him, he should be leading COGIC and not in exile.

Hello there. I usually don't comment on things like this because everyone has issues. However, when you begin to teach that you don't have to get saved, that everyone is already saved then we have a problem because it's opposed to the Word. Why preach? Why pray? Why even try to live right if everyone gets to go to glory.

It's about realizing that you have ALREADY been saved because of Christ's propitiation for sin and not by something you did. The Lamb was slain BEFORE the foundation of the world, that BEFORE is in reference to time because if it wasn't then that would mean that where He was slain was the actual FOUNDATION that the world rested on. Why preach and pray? To let the rest of the world know that God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only so that the WORLD would be saved, that's everyone!

Why do you call the "Gehenna references" ridiculous? Gehenna was a perfect visual cue to scare the hell "into" people. A place where the worm dieth not and everlasting fire. Both items could almost undoubtedly be found there between the burning of trash and the rotting of food and corpses that were disposed of there.

It's ridiculous because it's a false twist on scripture. Hell is real, not a visual aid. If all were saved, why mention a conceptual punishment anyway? This false doctrine is a man-made concept that lulls people into disregarding the scripture's mandate to "deny yourself take up a cross and follow me"

The concept of an eternal barbecue pit that many Christians cling to wasn't even mentioned until St. Augustine created it in the 4th century. And if hell is real then why didn't God think to mention it to Adam and Eve as He was warning them to not eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Yes. But the fall of (Adam)Man had a purpose. If man never fell then there would not have been a need for a savior in the first place. If there was never a need for a savior then Christ would have never needed to sacrifice Himself to pay the sin debt.

We ALL have been born again. The problem is that not ALL have realized it. Christ paid the sin debt in FULL. If that doesn't include ALL then the debt has not been PAID. It is great to believe, but the greater truth is that even if you don't believe it matters little, because God BELIEVES IN YOU. He believed in you and me and everyone else so much that He sent His only son to pay a debt that we are incapable of paying by ourselves.

Lucifer's "rebellion" was rebellion according to his own point of view as well as the rest of creation. But that doesn't mean it was the Creator's opinion too. If God stood at the beginning and saw the end then could it be possible that it wasn't truly rebellion? What if Lucifer and the 1/3 were only following God's "script"? If they did what God wanted them to do then could they truly be punished? Judas did his part.... What do you think would have happened if he hadn't betrayed Jesus?

Is God a liar? He has chosen not to violate the will of his creation. He could make us, but because of his love and desire for true worship, he gives us the oppertunity to chose him of our own volition. God's plan will ALWAYS work. It's up to us to chose what side we'll serve on. These ridiculous concepts suggested do not match God's word. If you are not convinced of the infallibility of it, we can never find common ground.

After Christ's resurrection, Letters (epistles) were written to the church to instruct on how to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. If there was no consequence, there would be no reason for instruction!! Why repent if I'm going to heaven anyway? To tell others? Why do they need to know if they are already secured? Let the rapists, murderers, liars, child molestors, and all other sinners who fail to repent squirm a little since God will let them all off the hook come judgement!

Why even HAVE judgement? Close all churches and let's party hearty! Sound foolish? It is my friend. There is a standard that God has set for us that is attainable. We don't deserve it, but The grace of God makes it possible. If we won't even take what God offers us in our state of unworthiness, we reject God and will not enter into His eternal rest. It's in the Word, like it or not!

When you word it that way it is foolish. Anyone who thinks they are justified to do whatever they want just because they have already been saved is missing the point. The point is to know that you are saved already and be at peace with yourself, and KNOW that God loves everyone...even YOU! Once the burden of condemantion is removed a person can then focus on living a good, just, and holy life. Nothing beats the human psyche down quite like thinking that you are worthless to both God AND man!

There are consequences and punishment for bad decisions and I believe that to be what Hell is. People rebel because they think they are "getting away" with something. If they realize what Christ has done for us ALL then they can see that there is NO NEED to rebel and they can then draw themselves closer to God.

God's word is infallible, those who wrote it all down were not. The bible is a two-edged sword. It is written in a way so as to rally Christians around it, but it is also written vaguely enough to be subject to misinterpretation. The fact of the matter is you see it one way and I see it another, and we both believe ourselves to be correct. But you know as well as I do that the COMPLETE TRUTH will not be made known to us until we hear it from God firsthand.

Things are shifting, but not when it pertains to the gospel. Christians MUST discern what things need to change, and what needs to say the same. Someone once said, methods change, but principles stay the same. God's moral law does not change regardless of social change in a given society. Our socieity embraces pre-marital and homosexual sexual behavior. Within the community of faith, these are prohibited though many faith traditions in Christianity are CHANGING thier positions. They have failed.

Why? Wile I don't agree with the totality of his doctrine of inclusion, I understand what he is saying is fundamentally sound. His flock is not unlike the flock of "the way" during the time of the Apostles. There were many that did not believe or understand.

I was saved when i was 20 years old...i was a punk rocker playing in a band...6 months later i was in bible school in germany...i went to south africa to Rhema Bible school and then became a youth pastor and then asssociate pastor in a ministry...and after 15years my heart could not believe in a God who sends people to hell...then God revealed to me that this doctrine was not true thru 7 years of study in new way of the bible
