to get A's u usually have to hit every note as "perfect" or "great" but mostly perfect. If you get boos and almost, then you cant get A's.

if you hit every not and you get c's and d's than your timing isn't exactly correct... you probably get mostly greats and thats why you cant get AA's you need lots of perfects for AA's

You can turn off the Hand marker if you select the song in the song menu search for options in the song list and press Hand Marker press on Player 1 (or player 2 etc if ur with more) and cclick on Off and it's turned off ,, THEN YOU only play with the Dance pad :)
