This was a good summary. If the #1 wasn't superman vs. SUPER Darkseid then it would've been a disappointment. That had to be the best fight scene ever. Super Darkseid took superman's biggest punch and kept on fighting. Super Darkseid...combination of Brainiac's weapons, Tala's sorcery, and the old Darkseid's brute strength. Again, very nice summary.
Honestly fights like this occur everyday in Metropolis - the place would be a total shithole. It wouldnt be the City of Tomorrow ..it would be the City of Fail. Love the last punch!!! One of my favorite episodes in all the JL series, and Darkseid definitely deserved that! It's also one of the few moments where we see Superman embracing his Kryptonian side and unleashing his whole power.
