You're right about the wellies. Powder blue Hunters are really smart, just like your dog. He almost looks at times like he wants to shake hands / paws with you....

Yes he is easy to train and providing I have treats etc. to keep him focused he's always keen, obviously now that he's older his attention span is alot longer than what it was!
Time-wise it really depends on what you're actually teching as some things are harder than others xD from what I can remember he mastered sit on command within a few days, yet things like recalls, waits etc. are a working progress =]

I love your dog! In fact, I've always wanted a BC. I was just wondering how much time you spend per day training your dog and how long it takes you to teach Ted a trick? I've heard that BC's learn extremely fast and that they rarely are distracted.. Am I right?
