Bryan Cranston is completely right not necessarily because he is one playing the character. I think it's way too simplistic to say that Walt was always a monster. People change sometimes very good ways and other times in very bad ways. I do agree that Walt always was a tinking time bomb due to his string of misfortunes. And it was terminal illness that finally put him over edge. But he was a genuinely good person who was faced with these impossible decisions.
the guy didn't even have a tripod for the camera, and still Bryan gives one of the most insightful and intelligent interviews I've ever seen an actor do. Fantastic
for those who complained about the 'yeah-ya', Bryan is talking to this interviewer, he needs interaction, the 'ya's' are too loud for us coz he's closer to the camera, but they were appropriate for their talkings..... instead of being just happy for this interview.... trolls need to complain some how.... go smoke some blue!
OMG I am scared shitless in the second last episode! I really hope "Jesse" does not die because he got his life together and has a family "The Latino girl and her son" and I hope Mr. White gets outta dodge.
Why does the interviewer think the show is called Breaking Bad? Maybe it's because Walter changes and is breaking bad? Weird he couldn't figure that out.
That's a pretty misguided intro by the interviewer -Walt's not a monster, he's just a regular guy, who happens to be dying, and looking at the end of life, just stops giving a fuck about how to get a shit ton of money for his family before he goes.
But he is a good man, and is perpetually conflicted, which is what makes the character so great.
The ability to do all those things is in all of us, and it has a lot more to do with circumstances. You could kill too if you had to.
I disagree with Cranston's comments at 7:27. It seemed like the writers had their thumb on the scale when it came to portraying Skylar as a heartless bitch. She could have shown more affection and still have Walt sign the divorce papers. Walt is so conflicted that it would not have severely impacted the story anyway.
He looks a bit like an O.G. mexican druglord from LA. If he tied the top button of the shirt up and had a gold chain he'd look like an extra from training day!
"You're completely wrong"
Winner.

@aegisforex that's why you'll never work in this type of business. you dont know what you're talking about

@MrDgaf12345 And what exactly makes you an expert? Are we to believe that you're a successful screenwriter at age 20? Get over yourself, kid.
Several prominent TV critics disagree with you, by the way. Do they not belong in this type of business as well?
