  • Wish this was longer yeah i know that's what she said but yeah.

  • Dragon Age 1 = Apex of western RPG.

  • amazing....

  • best RPG SAGA ever

i played skyrim but ORIGINS stays where it belongs in my HALL OF HEART

  • @Vampirvork skyrim is better in gameplay and stuff , but origins is the history , the warden history is awwsome

  • @tiagotre1 maybe but skyrim dont belongs in my HALL OF HEART

    ORIGINS belongs there

  • the sex song ^^

  • Fucking goosebumps. I keep getting them no matter how many times I hear Dragon Age soundtracks. I guess DA is now forever a part of my life, not as a video game, but as an adventure... Such a weird feeling. Just sitting here, crying at the keyboard and letting my inner nerd take over.

  • This brings back in-game memories...

  • why is everyone comparin DA Origins to Skyrim? Skyrim is an open world rpg where u can go basically anywhere and do what u want and Dragon Age is more linear but focuses on char development and banter between team mates theyre completly different games so stop fuckin comparin em theyre both great games so STFU!!!

  • The one thing I hate is how I go to play a Bioware game (start to really like it), and get to the end and find out my character doesnt have a happy ending. Dont get me wrong sometimes I like the sad and dramatic, but once in a while I like that happy ending, not that "stays with you for a time" bs.

    P.S. Romanced Leliana :)

  • There are only little more than one hundred thousand people who understand what love is

  • @JMSLionheart that's true

  • Comment removed

  • people skyrim is great for plain simple exploration but not much character development and hard to attach yourself to the characters this game does that much better imo

  • Who else wants to be a mage and hang out with Wynne, Morrigan, Anders, Merril and Bethany? Not just me I hope.

  • This song makes me want to wield a sword.

  • epic song epic game........nuff said

  • I... I love Dragon Age Origins :')

  • Aah, takes me back to the good times with Leiliana... and Morrigan

  • Thank you for the mediafire link <3

  • I am glad, that I am not done yet with the game, especially while hearing this song I become nostalgic, and don´t wantlet the game end D;

  • Does any developer as consistantly produce GOTYs as BioWare? I think not.

  • fucking love this song could listen to it for ever

  • I love this song so much... Aubrey Ashburn's song really touch me and I wanna learn them all xD

  • I love Aubrey's voice!! she does a song for DMC4 also x3 brillant!!!

  • Dragon Age: Origins and Star Wars: The Knights of The Old Republic is my favourite RPGs of all time. And Origins gotta have the best and most memorable music.

  • @TheMiningManiac what about the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale Series ?

  • @Aelkamal Have not tried either of them ;)

  • @Aelkamal Dragon age is a good game, but Baldur's gate is 10times better with 10times better music ;)

  • Morrigan and Alistair are my favorite video game characters ever ^^ I have them in my party on every character :D i hope that they return in DA3..or better yet, your morrigan's child :D

  • @Kariasora

We can agree on the fact that it is used for romantic scenes throughout the game.

  • 11-11-11 -- goodbye DAO...

  • @DarkestSide1000 11-11-11 was my 13th birthday xD

  • @SilverTearsStudios

happy belated birthday... damn, you're lucky. if you can live for another millennium, you can experience the miracle again.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Lmao ikr??

  • @OppasYeobo

There is nothing crazy about it, because Bioware will have done a marvelous job if you feel that way.

  • @spiraloutward

No this is not on the soundtrack. Sometimes there are so many sound files and songs that are not included. You receive this by having an romantic relationship with Morrigan if you are a male.

  • @AWonderingWarrior You can also recive it by having a romantic relationship with Alistair if your female. I know. I've heard it.

  • I've played Origins like 20 times all the way through but never heard this song in its entirety.. it's not on the official soundtrack is it?

  • I love this game. I am glad I am not alone with how this Game gives you a special feeling. It is like you are one with The world of Theadas. My character was a Human Nobel Warrior by the Name of Lord Gabriel Cousland. And yes I did go For Morrigan as his one true love. This song does remind me of Morrigan and Gabriel's love. I am still Puzzled why most people will pick COD over this as this as Feeling, Emotion and a Great Storyline!!! and it has it all Love, Action, Friends everything.

  • @TheGoongala Dude, yes! The fact that CoD sell more baffles me. I don't understand it at all. I mean yeah, shooters aren't exactly the deepest games (BioShock being the exception), but CoD really is just point and shoot.

And Morrigan is great. She might actually be my favorite video game character. I actually think that I got attached to the game because of her character.

John Price and the Call of Duty crew just can't do that.

  • This song reminds me of Morrigan ,which she will never understand how much the Warder loved her. =[

  • Lol this is kind of random, but if anyone has played Dragon Age 2 yet, if you choose a pre-built history where Alistair isnt king you can find him in the tavern in Dragon age 2

  • i dont know why, but i love the way morrigan speaks... her words are so elegant, and intelligent... i wish i could speak like that.

  • I plan to have this played at my wedding. I don't care if it's from a video game, this is just too perfect.

  • @FlyingFocs I agree and Im thinking the same, this song is Beautiful <3

  • @FlyingFocs I know! This song would fit so perfectly for a wedding! :'D Much better than my original plan to rick roll everyone when I get married >:3

  • @greenpawify It really is, because, I'm not sure a lot of people would get the Rick Roll. Unless of course they are very familiar with internet memes.

  • @FlyingFocs you'll have the most kick-ass wedding. :o

  • oooo

  • can anyone tell me th name of the song when u start saying ur goodbyes to your companions at the battle of fereldan?

  • Morrigan, oh how I miss my her. Morrigan, my Dearest Witch, I love you, now and forever. And if we are to meet again, I will love you still. And if I am to die, I will remember the happiest thing in my life, you.

    (From Warden Commander Malcolm Cousland)

  • @AthenasXAlistar And My Dalish Warden Commander Chandler Mahariel <3

  • IT'S A DRAGON...MADE OF BLOOD...HOW DO YOU GET MORE AWESOME THAN THAT?

  • @shaduge71 You fight your ass off to get it as a scar!!! :P

  • Hey, do you guys remember how at the end of Witch Hunt, you and Morrigan could go off into the Eluvian after she tells you that change is coming, and you were reunitied with you're friend/love interest?

Why am I bringing this up? Oh, maybe because it was an enormous cliff hanger that the team at BioWare NEVER RESOLVED! I mean, really, why would you do that, only to go into a completely unrelated character in the next game? Pointless!

  • @projectlevydelta Ahhh... well, I played as a male. So, there's were tha crappy voice acting remark came from. And yeah I know that it was clunky in DAO, but to me it played like KotoR, which I loved so I didn't mind. Also, the story and characters in DAO were so good that I could forgive it of it's faults.

P.S. I love this song. Just thought I'd say that. So pretty.

  • @projectlevydelta I honestly hated the combat in DA2. They made it WAY too simple. You just enter battle and hit the A button repeatedly, and you've one. Besides, DAO had more interesting characters, and I honetly prefer having a silent hero with dialouge trees as opposed to a crppy voice actor with a dialouge wheel. But that's just me.

  • Why not just replay it with a different charatcer?

  • Man I so miss dragon age origins... played it for so long, ended and now im so fuckin depressed... sittin in my uni's dorm and listening to it's soundtracks... Thumbs up if anybody feels the same :(

  • i play this song when i make love with mai waifu

  • finnally! This sgon is awesome thanks:DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I'm often turned on when i hear this song

  • Best. Ringtone. EVER.

  • To be honest, the reason I liked this game so much was actually because of Morrigan. I thought she was one of the most unique characters I'd ever seen in a video game. And at the end of Witch Hunt, when she and Aedan Cousland (my Warden character) left into the Eluvian, yeah, I want to know what happens after that.

DO YOU HERE ME, BIOWARE! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE TWO! SCREW HAWKE!

  • I want my Dalish Elf Rouge, and I want My Morrigan back!!!!!!......AND I want to see my son tooo!!!!!!!! >:(

  • @FlyingFocs Ever heard of fanfiction? You could write what happened.

  • Comment removed

  • @Chandler9345 dalish elf? leliana isn t an elf :S

  • Comment removed

  • @Chandler9345 xD you have a girl character?

  • @tommybui I was talking about my Warden lol

  • Hawke sucks. :( I want my warden back. </3 I also want Morrigan back.

  • @xSweetAngel12 I KNOW RIGHT!!!!

  • Some of you have been talking about DA3 while loving this music and reliving the game... Not only does DAO talk at the end about his/her story not being over, but Leliana at the end of DA2 when confronted with the news that the Champion has vanished...just like the warden... she says "That's not a coincidence." Here's hoping the writers really are that good and meant this all as foreshadowing for the next game to tie things together and be as good as the first...

  • i will never forget when i got back to Ostagar year ago...mine king, whole game...you just feel it! you can't stop! i cried so many times.... :((( Dragon age 2 is bullshit!

  • I want to lose my memory and play this masterpiece again. It's worthy!

  • i know i must seem really crazy but i got so attatched to DAO and all the characters that i was actually quite sad and lost once i finished the game. maker, i have so many good memories playing it. i love how you could just start it up and hang around camp talking to your buddies, something that we don't see a lot of in video games. gaahhh, now i'm thinking of my romanced Alistair, bff Morrigan and those hilarious Oghren and Zevran/Anders banters. i hate nostalgia... -waves fist-

  • @OppasYeobo No one here would call you crazy. This game did that to alot of people. Myself included.

  • @FlyingFocs i suppose not, but honestly, if you saw me begging my brother to get off the xbox so i could play origins THEN you would call me crazy. lmao, i was so obsessed/attatched *insert another creeper word here* to that game, and i still am. immensely.

  • @OppasYeobo i know what you mean. it's so easy to get wrapped up in such an epic story, with some of the most amazing characters I've ever seen. I find myself wishing it was real now and then, still. (Or at least, wishing guys could be more like alistair... -_-...) nonetheless.. I still can't quite get over it.

  • @thatblondechickkk Lol i'm so happy that so many people agree with me! i'm not the only one here who wishes they lived in thedas! and i know. it's really hard - well at least for me - when i finish the game. like, that's it over. done. and then when the credits come up i shed a tear EVERY TIME. i curse and praise bioware for making the best game i've ever played, and i hope they return to their roots for dragon age 3.

  • @OppasYeobo I know exactly what you mean, I had a dream the next night about my Best friend and I turning into Dalish elves and becoming Grey Wardens, and then I woke up a cursed :(

  • @OppasYeobo Truer words cannot be said. It was an experience, not just a game.

  • @OppasYeobo

We'll see each other in Skyrim of Nirn. Thedas sucks.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Thedas sucks? I like both Dragon Age and Skyrim, but Dragon Age has a WAY BETTER story! I got really attached with almost every character. The only characters I'm attached to in Skyrim are the Stormcloaks.

  • @absmar Dragon Age has great characters but pathetic story. At least, even if you put on easiest mode, you still have to get closer to Alduin. But, in Dragon Age 1, you don't have to reach the ugly sky lizard. Skyrim has a better storyline than Dragon Age. What is the history of Dragon Age? So, you fight two dragons (one optional - Andraste) and you call it a Dragon Age? lol. You seriously don't know how to play Skyrim. Skyrim > DAO/DA2. Elder Scrolls > DA.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Actually Skyrim has a pathetic story. I found the civil war storyline more epic than the main one. You actually can fight 3 dragon's that are bosses-which are the Archdemon, Flemeth, and the High Dragon. You don't fight Andraste -_-, you're thinking of the high dragon. Aside from those there are lots of smaller dragons like the drakes. It seems to me you haven't played Dragon Age Origins before.

  • @absmar

You haven't answered my question. How many dragon you MUST fight in Dragon Age: Origins? Skyrim has a pathetic story? It seems to me you haven't played Skyrim before. Or perhaps, you played it and got bored because you can't play Adept. I don't blame you. Civil war story is great. Winterhold is amazing. Main quest is good. Dragon Age? All suck.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Ok, I must say that I like the Skyrim story compared to Oblivion. I couldn't even play Oblivion because I found it so boring. Anyways like I said, Iike the Skyrim story, but not as much as Dragon Age.

  • @absmar For 2006, Oblivion is great. However, you got to admit that Skyrim is better than Dragon Age. Otherwise, you're not thinking straight.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Well it's really all about opinion. My opinion is that Dragon Age is better than Skyrim. Yours is that Skyrim is better than Dragon Age, and I can respect that, Skyrim is a good game.

  • Both games are really different. But Dragon Age Origins leaves you a mark, something that Skyrim isn't able to do even if you play it for 100 hours. I enjoyed every minute of my time playing Dragon Age Origins (still replay it nowadays). I played a lot of time Skyrim and I enjoyed it, but not at the same level. Bioware, please, recover your sense and work to let Dragon Age 3 to be a masterpiece like Origins was. Do it for your real fans, the ones who appreciate you talent!

  • @JMSLionheart

You're obsessed because of the OST.

  • @DarkestSide1000 In part, yes. But Dragon Age Origins is epic overall

  • @JMSLionheart There really isn't any way to compare Skyrim and Dragon Age as it is two different kinds of games. Skyrim was made by bethesda and Dragon Age by Bioware. Skyrim is more open and Dragon Age is a little more restricted either way, it's two different game designers and I do not believe the games were made to be compared.

  • @JMSLionheart it won't happen because those sons of - you know the rest - from EA bought the project.

  • @JMSLionheart Elder Scroll > Dragon Age.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Dragon Age Origins > TES V: Skyrim > Dragon Age 2.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Great plan saying this on a Dragon Age video

  • @DarkestSide1000 Well it depends, I'm going to end up playing Skyrim for A LOT longer than I ever played DA:O, but the story of DA:O and its combat system I found engrossed me MUCH more. I literally ran back to res in first year between classes to play some more DA:O. Skyrim is fun, but hasn't hooked me to that degree. I cared about DA:O's world and characters, something that doesn't happen to me in games very often (normally reserved for books mostly, not even movies do it)

  • @DarkestSide1000 I've been on the ES bandwagon since morrowind, i would have been on it by daggerfall too but it was before my time. i thought i loved the ES games, and i do, but ever since i played baldur's gate, i knew bioware was the game company for me. i love exploring, and i'm adventurous by nature anyway, but stories and characters are not bethesda's strong points. i mean they could tell you that themselves. i love both companies, bioware/da just suits me more.

  • @OppasYeobo

Good for you. I agree DA has great characters. But not a good story. Let me ask you one thing: what's the purpose of deepening the characters if you're gonna use them once? Baldur's Gate is better than Dragon Age. With Sarevok, Jon Irenicus etc. Dragon Age... with Loghain Mac Tir? Meh...

  • @DarkestSide1000 I actually liked the story. I suppose I see where you're coming from, I would have preferred if bioware did a mass effect and just kept most of the same characters throughout the series. And I definitely agree that Baldur's Gate is better, I just don't necessarily think Skyrim is.

Btw, Dragon Age is named that way because at the start of the 'Age' (think it was after the healing age or exalted age) a Dragon was seen by a king or something. Oh and Winterhold is amazing :P

  • @OppasYeobo Dragon Age has good characters but the story isn't that impressive. You want an amazing story, check out Mass Effect. The characters you know and love will die. Now, that's a story.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Played all mass effects, liked them a lot, but sci fi isn't my thing.

  • @DarkestSide1000 Why come to a DA song if you don't like it? Yes I liked ME but seriously I think people like you do it for attention.

  • @OppasYeobo Im glad someone else has done that to their brother haha. sometimes I feel like I like these games a little too much. Fenris, specifically

  • @OppasYeobo I know how you feel T_T I cant even bring myself to play another character :( I was in love with my party, including my original character.... AUGH I wanna play from the beginning on MY original character :( Augh I loved Alistair so much </3 I have a coworker that is almost exactly like him though <3 but its still not the same xD DAO is definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

  • @OppasYeobo I'm on the same boat as you pal. I get so invested in these characters that they are no longer game characters but almost like actual friends. I adored chatting with Sten and trying to learn more about his culture. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @OppasYeobo I had exactly the same feelings after completing this game. I just want to walk around the party camp again and talk to all the great characters :)

  • @OppasYeobo LOL

  • @OppasYeobo I totally agree ;u;

I love alistair, Like, really. he's my everything. >_>

    <_<

  • @SerinaLachance SAME HERE D:

  • @OppasYeobo When I found out that he dies in Darkspawn chroinicles, I was like " MY HUSBAND! D':" And I am not downloading it >_>

If he dies. then no. <_<

  • @SerinaLachance chronicles.*

  • @OppasYeobo That's the good thing with Bioware, they give you this special feeling. Easily one of the best game developers out there...

  • I want to play DA BECAUSE of this song.

I'll call Gamestop on my Speed dial in the morning to get one ;)

  • This song is a a masterpiece. I am very much hoping by the time DA3 is here we will see the developers return to their roots and DAO. A true masterpiece...

  • I love this song best song in the game

  • pure perfection.

  • This song reminds me of how much I miss my character's (Lyna, a Dalish Elf) romance with Zevran. Lol...I need to get the wedding mod.

  • @TheClint0524 The satisfaction of mods.... I got to marry Alistair! :D

  • This song is sooooo pretty! I love listening to it <3<3<3<3

  • First, how can one dislike this song? Second, why is there a dislike button in the first place? And last, the like button needs to be replaced with a "Love" button.

  • I play this song when I bang black chicks

  • Fucking beautiful song!! ;_;

  • Dragon Age 2 was the wost game. I stopped playing it at the beginning. Im glad my brother in law let me try it before i bought it. Cause I did not buy it. All i know is that the grey warden and champion went missing. I think i will get dragon age 1 and awakening again to redo story to perfection. Then I will get dragon age 3.

  • @ultimatewarrior52 DA2 may have a totally fucked gameplay compared to DAO but the story is really good and well written. Think of it as a totally different game franchise instead and then you'll find it quite amusing (I did at least)

  • @DarkLThemsby LOL WHAT STORY? There was no story. Just a bundled up mess of unrelated stories of nonsense, which for some unknown reason, after they all took place, you are the champion now. What does that even mean?

  • @Pyrofreak321 If you weren't able to follow the story line of DA2 than how did you follow the story line of DAO? It's pretty much the same build-up only that the story itself was different. The warden and Hawke start from nothing. They each play an important role in a war. For the warden it was Ferelden against darkspawn. For Hawke it was mages against templar. Along the way you meet companions and develop a love interest. Somewhere in the story you lose family. During all this you help people.

  • @Pyrofreak321 I agree with DarkLThemsby. It's called having an open mind. DA2 may not be as good as DAO but I loved them both. I think the reason people don't like DA2 is because there were a lot of major changes. In most sequels they retain the connection to the original story making changes to gameplay. In DA2 they made major changes in both gameplay and story. Also take into account the amount of time they had to make the sequel. They had little time compared to the development of DAO.

  • @sasuchi02 I'm playing Dragon Age 2 myself, and so far I don't see myself quitting any time soon. That said, so far I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's not as bad as I expected it, that's true, but I can't help but feel that the changes they made weren't good. Some things I appreciate, like the combat is much faster and also the pictures on the dialogue wheel are helpful when you want to know if a particular sentence has the tone you desire.

  • @sasuchi02 However, I can't help but feel that they made Dragon Age 2 WAY too much like Mass Effect. The radial menu was fine since I see that as being their kind of special "thing", but the menus and everything seemed to be drastically changed. I just feel like, Mass Effect and Dragon Age are two separate franchises, and I ultimately still prefer DA:O's menu style. Granted, I switched directly from playing DA:O to DA2, so it's possible I just need more time.

  • @sasuchi02 Besides all that, the creators are making it out to be that this Hawke person is more important than our Warden. I just can't accept that. DA:O takes place in over the course of a year, DA2 in ten, yes? So far, it looks like the Warden will have accomplished MUCH more in 1 year, a year of HELL where everything everywhere went wrong, than Hawke could accomplish in 10. I'm only in Act 1 of DA2, so I'm most likely wrong, but... I will not let anyone tell me the Warden means nothing! xDDD

  • @TheAxehandler They are not saying that the warden means nothing. I'm sure the warden's story plays a huge part in Hawke's life. But what people have a hard time facing is that the warden's story is completely done. Bioware made that clear in the end of DAO when you could choose whether to sacrifice yourself or live and enjoy the end of your journey. They even made it clear in the different endings of Awakening when you run off with one of your companions and/or disappear completely.

  • @TheAxehandler Yes, there is a line at the end (If your warden vanishes) that says "Neither does anyone think her/his tale is complete..." What I'm thinking what they meant by that is that her story will greatly influence the sequels to come and perhaps he/she may appear and have a little chat with our Hawkes. I highly doubt we will ever get to play the warden again, not that I was not hoping we would. I loved my warden. But it really is time to pass the light on to someone else, Hawke.

  • @sasuchi02 but if you think about it, who went through more hell? And in a fight, I would put my money on the Warden. Mage or no

  • @Theuziguy That wasn't the point I was trying to make. I don't disagree with you. The warden certainly went through hell compared to Hawke but even that fact proves the point more that the warden's story is at its official end. He/she faced troubles and conflicts worth a lifetime, don't you think it's time for the warden to enjoy a well earned rest?

  • @ultimatewarrior52 dragon age 2 was not that bad i liked it was not as good as dragon age 1 but not bad

beside they were gonig for something new in dragon age 2 can you really blame them for trying something new to see what it results were?

  • What language is this?

  • This is so beautiful!

  • I got laid by the Mother

  • 2 people got rejected from their sex partner

  • =[ Dragon Age 2 isn't nearly as good as Dragon Age: Origins. Hopefully Dragon Age 3 will be a lot more like Origins. >^--^<

  • Leliana... <3

  • Still one of the best games i have ever played.

  • @TheTrueRevan, the reason they're so damned ugly is because they became older. Plus Zevran is older than Alistair. :'( Zevran is one of my favorite characters.

  • Beautiful!! Alistair <3

  • Dragon age 3 should continue right after Witch hunt/Dragon age origins if bioware does that the game is bound to get higer than 9.0 everyone wants a continuation to hour Hero back in origins and where and what happen with morrigan etc?

  • Anyone else sad that they made Alistair and Zevran UGLY AS FUCK in DA2?

    What's up with that?

  • @TheTrueRevan

It´s true :( they really look ugly as hell :'( poor guys *sniff*

  • @TheTrueRevan Leliana too...

  • @TheTrueRevan they got older?

  • @xIegionx Yeah, they did. I just think they made Zeveran wayyy to old! Alistair may look that way because of stress of being king of Ferelden. Maker, they just made Zevy old as heck!

  • @Kariasora Well the elves aren't immortal in DA as I know

  • @TheTrueRevan And what about Leliana? Now she walks like a cowboy and sh's ugly as hell xD

  • @tarja82 Well in my opinion, and this may upset some people, she never held a candle to Morrigan. She wasn't as funny, nor as interesting a character. Also, while Morrigan had a voice that I could listen to for hours, I HATED Leliana's voice.

Of course, I'm willing to bet that if she is borught back in DA3, and they keep the same engine from DA2 (which they will), Morrigan, as the other three will be, indeed, ugly as sin.
