  • not many like the sound of the K5HL....but everyone loves the K5HLL..I know I do..great video

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Sexy... XD 10/10

  • man i love the k5hll so much more than the k5hl. the k5hl sounds so depressing lol

  • The K5HL never "popped" to me. The K5HLL is jagged sounding and pops.

  • what's the big deal to make a video of it? These guys go past my house blowing that damn horn at night all the time just down the road from where you filmed that. They piss me off enough watching them go by in person. idk why the hell I'm watching it on youtube right now...

  • With all due respect, its a hobby. You have your we have ours. You may not find interest in this video, but there are other's out there that do, and even I find interest myself in my videos.. Not trying to be mean, but if you honestly don't like it, move. The railway was there before you were.

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx Guess I came off a bit rude. I suppose its a hobby to some. I still think it's an eyesore and a nuisance. I was thinking about by Webster, but same deal.

  • Its fine. Yes it is, and we are all entitled to our own opinions. Webster isn't any where near as bad as you may think. Webster is generally a stretch of road between Monesson & Elizabeth. Monesson has crossings, but I can only think of 1 come to mind.. I live in the general area of the towns you mention..

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx Yeah I know webster well. Where I'm at the track is 30 feet from my window and maybe 250-400ft down the road from a crossing. Anyways have fun with your hobby.

  • Thanks.

  • Hmm? Weird consist! Nice vid though! 5/5!

  • Thanks!

  • *sigh* this title makes me just not want to watch a train. haha.

And funny, all the foamers think there IS such thing as a "K5HLL". I know engineers who work BNSF/UP, there is no such thing. It's just a K5HL, and Nathan tuned down 2 of the 5 chimes. *sigh*

  • *Sigh* Yet again, you come to comment something completely useless. That's nice to know Brian, because I know people who work for NS/CSX, there is such a thing. Go back to minding your business. If your only going to comment to start trouble, I would stop while you have a chance.

  • K5HLL - Bells 1L, 1, 2, 3L, 4. There is indeed a K5HLL.

  • awesome power great video

  • AH HA A ES44AC!!!!!

  • Those are most likely the Generators that are made at a plant out in Canonsburg. They were most likely picked up from the P&OC and taken to Aliquippa or Demmler for pickup. You will see those on 352/353 several times a year

  • The generators have not been covered when running on 352/353. The generators you are mentioned are put on depressed flat bed cars, and are much taller than these..

  • This video is the definition of awesome. Absolutely insane K5HLL, lashup and consist behind it all. Dang.

  • This was probably the best train I have seen in months.

  • Excellent vid! The K5HLL is a monster of a horn! Nice catch with the BNSF leader.

  • Its surely a beauty! Thanks

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx No problem. I'd definintely rank the K5HLL as one of my favorite horns.

  • You can believe that. So do I. BNSF's are my all time favorite K5HLL's

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx I really like the ones that Canadian Pacific and Union Pacific use. Either way, I can safely say that I have yet to actually hear a bad K5HLL.

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx ugh not mine, i like the K5HLs on the dc gevos better, but i like the ac gevos better lol, and i hate bnsf, i miss the b36-7s with the beautiful old cast K5LAs on um

  • Youtube user 1jackdk should be able to provide you with what you seek. ;-)

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx thnx a bucnh dude appreciate the help :) gotta admit those ol bboats carried some killer K5LAs on um

  • What were those big black things on the flat cars toward the beginning of the train?

I'm sending you a video, check out the horn on the BNSF engine.

Awesome video my friend! 2 thumbs up!

  • We were trying to figure that out ourselves when this train was passing us.. We never did find out what it was. All I know is what ever they were, is that they were big! :P

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx They almost look like steam engines or maybe submarines! hard to say, probably some machinery or something...

  • My best assumption is that they are something with nuclear power. For this size and to be covered too..

  • beautiful!

  • the K5HLL has to be the most in your face horn. haha

  • @JoaoT805 I'd say a SD70ACe or SD70M-2's K5LLA would be that...but they're both great when tuned right.

  • @DJGENEX71 Bah...everybody knows the single-note Leslie honker rules them all. :)

  • Anyday!

  • K5LLA has somewhat of a harmony to it; the K5HLL is brute like; K5HLL in my standings

  • yeah true true. cant argue with that.

  • nice!

  • nice lash up!!!!!!!!!
