I Love this. It shows the relationship between two men who were practically brothers once and how they let their differences get between the friendship they had built for years. One of my favorite shows of all time.
i wish smallville was still more like season 1. when it was actually smallville. coz sorry clois fans but if lois hadnt of come smallville would still be the same. season 6 was too far. Lex and Clark used to be gd friends and Lex would have never killed his father

and another thing, do you even know the story this show is based on? lex luthor is clark kent/superman's arch nemesis so it only makes sense that he turns evil since this is a show telling the roots of the Superman story... sorry, but the story was written long ago and there's no changing it...
and lex was supposed to kill lionel, it'd have happened even if lois never joined the cast... sorry if i was rude, but i think you should know the basics of the story before you judge the show. lois and clark are destined to be together and lex is clark's enemy and that will never change. it's written...

Oh, yeah, if Clark would have never been there, Lex would have been totally evil. But I feel that if Clark had trusted Lex even a little bit- or at the very least not have given up on him for something he may or may not have even done- Lex would still have a chance to be a good person. Clark gave Lex hope, only to rip it away from him.
we dont know how lex would have reacted to his secret back then. i honestly think he would have tried to protect clark but in the end i do believe that evil would come out and it'd have been horrible for clark when that happened. clark did delay lex's evilness but the dark side was too strong within lex. losing clark's friendship did push him over the edge tho. i do agree with that :)
I love this video! I miss Clex. It's so true. Part of what Lex is today is because of Clark. I don't know what I'd do either if I found out that the one person in the world I thought I could trust had been lying to me our entire relationship, and made me feel like everything that was wrong in their life was my fault. (And that was when they were "friends"!)
As far as I'm concerned, their friendship was over the moment Clark chose his Secret over Lex in "Shattered". (Which is actually my favorite episode.)

Words cannot express how amazing this vid was. Lex Luthor is the greatest villain of all time (IMO) and the scenes you included of Clark kneeling before him and when he was in his Presidential White Suit were really awesome. Good work!
That was superb! I loved the entire thing and the way that you did it was great. The voice-overs, the scenes fading into one another, and the clips you chose were great. I love how you started it off with the scene from "Descent". Then the way that you showed how their friendship grew and then broke as the video progressed was very nice too. I especially liked how you did 02:07 - 02:22 with the voice-over in the middle. Ending the video with Lex in Belle Reve was classic. =D

Watched it again, and I love the concept that Clark thinks that the way Lex is, is because of him. It's interesting, but Clark didn't make him that way, Lex is not a good guy (he did have some good moments but he is just so BAD). The song and the voices matched well with the music and the clips you chose. Nice work!! :)

That was superb! I loved the entire thing and the way that you did it was great. The voice-overs, the scenes fading into one another, and the clips you chose were great. I love how you started it off with the scene from "Descent". Then the way that you showed how their friendship grew and then broke as the video progressed was very nice too. I especially liked how you did 02:07 - 02:22 with the voice-over in the middle. Ending the video with Lex in Belle Reve was classic. =D

Watched it again, and I love the concept that Clark thinks that the way Lex is, is because of him. It's interesting, but Clark didn't make him that way, Lex is not a good guy (he did have some good moments but he is just so BAD). The song and the voices matched well with the music and the clips you chose. Nice work!! :)

thank you!! yeah, i know clark isn't directly responsible for the way lex is. lex is evil, as he is supposed to be. but clark feels responsible for the end of their friendship. i'm really glad you liked the vid! thanks for watching and commenting again :D

wow, this was terrific. I love the Lex/Clark friendship - and I think the scenes between Michael and Tom are the best in the whole show - I'm gonna miss him! Anyway, this was great!!!

aww...thank you!! i really hope you watched thru the end credits (there's a surprise for you). yeah, i listened to this song a million times a day for the last 2 weeks and everytime i pictured clark and lex fighting some altered version of themselves at "face myself" (hence why i wanted the 'onyx' clips for lex) and after "descent" the "erase myself" fit perfectly!! and you know me and my need to match the beat of the song as well as the lyrics, lol. i'm so so SO happy you liked it :D

I really liked this! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is love with Clex's relationship on the show (I just love the way it progresses from friendship to bitter enemies!) Great song choice too and the clips were perfect. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. :)
