Tola Mankiewiczówna, beautiful voice jurek. This is the first Tola. I found little on the net for TM, except a her performance in Stravinsky's Warszawska which doesn't appear to be available.

Mankiewiczówna started from a role in Faust as Margarete, being hardly 18; then went to Italy for further voice training and there(!) - according - Wanda Wermińska, great Polish mezzo and Tola's friend, they (!) "widened" her voice too much.
Anyway, Mankiewiczówna from 30's
started to appear in lighter repertoire as
well as in the moovies.
