with all off these shows Mrs Brown I nearly wet myself and its great because its lifts people going through a hard time at present. I have gone through Cancer and the latest thing was bleeds to my brain at present I am in my bed eating my tears because off all these people that make me laugh thank you Brenden and the team and I am Irish through and through and I never stop laughtin.
Hahahahahaha, feckin' genius. And yet someone who's user name is a feckin' crap boy-band calls this drivel! Jay-sus,some folk have absolutely no sense of humour.
Its a family affair buster and maria are his son and daughter in real life. Cathy is his wife and buster is married to betty in real life. I just love this show.
brillant , just been to see Mrs Brown live at the Metro Arena Gateshead England, the best night i hhave had for years, the show cis even better live carnt wait for next show, cheers Dave
Where Mrs Brown answers with bits of this & that after he asks "What the hell happened here?" that bit reminds me a lot of what & how Bud Abbott used to react when he got nervous when Lou Costello asked him similar things. But there again comedians always copy each others material & change it around to suit themselves. All comedians material are never completely original. Very funny still.
So why can't the people in the states watch them on the BBC website again? Can we please make it so that it is compatible for viewing in other countries? This show is hilarious. Thanks.
@nightscape2008 Because we technically pay for BBC iPlayer. Over here we pay TV License which is required to watch live tv on bbc iplayer. And probably other things too like copyright and stuff, the same reason we cant watch things on Hulu :)
Brendan O Carroll is in my city right now, my mammy was at the show and he said that they're moving to BBC! So now people are ONLY hearing about the show.
@chrisspencerbarnes, yes actually - Brendan O'Carroll came up with the concept of Mrs Browne in the late 80's, it was eventually picked up by 2FM Radio for a 5 min skit weekdays at 4p.m, it ran for two years before he took it to the stage. Since then he has made a good few Direct to DVD videos of The Mammy & Mrs Browne. Along with doing this he also adopted Mrs Brownes Boy into a major Hollywood Film - 'Agnes Browne' in 1999. :)

@colintoner O'Carroll was never my cup of tea but I can't knock his success. I'm amazed the BBC picked it up though. I never saw that one coming. It only took them 20 years to contact O'Carroll. I prefer "When The Whistle Blows" myself.
@tmakidd0703 Hey you fecking dumb ass they say fecking in Ireland...hahahaha, I'm not sure what you call a fail that isn't a fail but instead is your fail, BUT that is your dilemma! LOL!
@tmakidd0703 Blimey Christ I can see this has gotten your knickers in a upwawd so I will just concur and say yes it is aired in Britain too, but it originated in Ireland, you Brits can't have it all... ;)
@Dawnina77 also i am not from britain....i am from the us....i know this is aired in britain cuz my cousin lives there and i went to see him and i saw this show there
@BENTLEYQUAMP It's a show in Ireland. Written by and played by the comic Brenden O' Carroll, the show just aired January in Ireland. It's fecking funny!
