What I wanted to say is Japan has many religions and Japanese almost does not know the difference between them.

But National religion of Japan is 神道（shintou） not Buddhism.

Correctly 陰陽道（Onmyoudou） is not Buddhism. Onmyoudou is originally made in Japan about 7 AD by using the way of 陰陽五行説(Onmyou-Gogyou-setsu from China),道教(Doukyou from China),神道(Shintou=Japanese ancient religion) and 仏教(Buddhism from China).

So, 陰陽道(Onmyoudou) is made of several religions. But Onmyoudou is Japanese original religion.
