I have created a music album which charts the history of the Space Race.
Space Race by Rhesus Monkey.
The album charts the start of the Space Race with Sputnik 1957, Yuri Gagarin's first human space flight, John Glenn's Triple Orbit, Ed White's Gemini IV Space Walk, then onto Apollo.
You can view videos of three tracks from the album within my YouTube channel.
@kaptugan exactly my feelings ( romanian )..i hope any country will have this kind of leader someday, as we see atm, none excels at his job of president.
My second favorite of the Kennedy's speech. I can't help to not notice how distracted or uninterested looks the vice president, in fact, I bet if you had asked him what the speech part liked most probably would have answered something very simple in perspective to the importance of the far reaching implications of the vision's speech. Same that in the inaugural speech.
I really hate To Say thi To this Very Uninformed Public But The Closest Man and realy caring human bien we could have had for president was minamilised by the main steam media and not enouph people got to hear what he had to say listen to a speach by JFK then listen to RON PAUL and feel the love and obove all the honesty!!!!!!!!!Wake Up America

Kennedy couldn't hold a candle up to our current greatest President Bush. Kennedy was a lib. Remember that people.
I just wish George Bush could run again. He has been an inspiration to me these past 8 years. Thank you Bush for 8 wonderful years of service to this nation. Our Grandchildren will one day build the biggest statue of you in your honor 100 years from now and kiss the feet of that statue in gratitude. Thank you so much.
You stupid bafoon. You obviously know nothing of what has happened to a once great nation. You are a shrill for the NWO system being constructed all around you. They will kill you too because they don't give an F about you. check out my site: itsonlytv blogspot and contact me.
Agreed. How many Americans actually KISS a statue of one of our leaders?? Thats third world country stuff, which we are well above that. No Germs for me, thanks..
JFK was one of the best presidents the U.S. Has ever seen. We need a change like that just like we need a change now,If JFK hadn't been President would we have gone to the moon first? prolly not but we would have gone. JFK was a good thing for the US just Some people weren't ready. :'(
Truman should be #7, with Jefferson at #4 and TR at #5, but whatever. Still pretty accurate though, because Truman is/was one of the most underrated presidents ever. And I guess Jefferson did more awesome stuff while he was founding the nation than he did during his terms in office.
truman at 5? jfk should be 4th in line and bump Washington off this list too, he was the first president, why would that make him a good president? we don't even know how presidency was supposed to work back then. Where is Andrew Jackson on this list?? He was the only President in history to pay off the national debt in full.
I like your way of thinking! People compare Clinton w/ Kennedy too. He's nothing like President Kennedy! I'm not sure we'll ever have a President like Kennedy again since Bobby was shot. Those were two of the saddest days in American history. If you want to compare Kennedy to any one compare him with Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, & F.D.R.!
Why does Rice play Texas!...imagine the gall!....That,my friends is America is all its Glory..in all its awfulness...Why? Because! Who are you to ask that question? I'm an American!
That is an amazing speech. The hair on the back of my neck actually stood up! Inspiring, a great leader with vision, it's a shame we don't have peole like that at the moment.
JFK was a great man and died for being the only man that said NO to these scum. JFK had always been a servant of the elite but he was so shocked when he became aware of their ultimate plan that he tried to abolish the fed reserve and the CIA. He had decided to become a leader of the people and the global elite couldn't allow that to happen. Vote Ron Paul in '08. HE CAN SAVE AMERICA AND BRING IT BACK TO GREATNESS!
mrboffo1: You have to get out of the "Republican/Democrat" "Left/Right" mindset. It's a fraud. Ron Paul is a great man! He is anti gun control, anti war, anti UN, anti NAU, pro national sovereignty and pro liberty. VOTE RON PAUL IN '08!
Ron Paul is garbage and I'm sick of his supporters randomly coming on Youtube and mucking up the comments on the videos. He does not understand globalization and the modern world. His ways of thinking are too old.
I disagree with his dismantling of the tax system, his gun control policy, his notion that dismantling the UN would be a good idea, and many others. Even though he is the only Republican I can stomach, ANY Democrat is better. I'm sick of Ron Paul supporters touting him like he's the only peace candidate. His peace platform is the only thing good about him. Everything else would hurt the country.
PapaMagnum: You actually support the illegal tax system? What is wrong with his policy on gun control? Maybe you should read my myspace blog on gun control. It reveals the inards of gun control brainwashing. Getting rid of the UN is a very good idea. They sterylize women, intentionaly spread disease and force vaccinate people in poor countries. Look up what i'm saying. It's all mainstream, hiden in plain view.
The tax policy was illegal a long time ago. I support gun control because coming from an inner city, I have seen what kind of violence they can easily spread. Getting rid of the UN is a VERY BAD idea because it eliminates the forum of discussion that the world needs for our problems. They certainly do not intentionally spread disease, or anything else out of sheer malice.
I still get goosebumps listening to this rhetorical masterpiece. "Why does Rice play Texas? We choose to go to the moon...not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Hook 'em--
Reagan? Puoy! Jack Kennedy wanted to utilize space for peaceful purposes; Reagan, in all his limited imagination, wanted to introduce WAR to the heavens.
Don't insult JFK by comparing him to that 3rd rate imitator! Reagan and his Hollywood image machine could only mimic JFK, without the wit!
It may be unfair to compare other presidents to Kennedy, but we have the right to expect greatness from our leaders. The truth is that great statesmen like Kennedy, Lincoln and FDR are rare. Their stature is further enhanced by the long line of schleps that we are usually forced to endure in the absence of real leadership.

Jack Kennedy was to the America of the early 1960s as Franklin Roosevelt was to the early 1930s.
I see another Roosevelt and Kennedy primed for the early 21st century in the senator from Illinois, Barack Obama.

Why does Rice play Texas... I remember having an old .45 single that promoted the US space program.
It opened with JFK's speech on the space program.
Astronauts were national heroes at the time.
