When going to festivals do you carry pictures of your work or have a book of designs you can do or that other people have done? Or both. I'm starting henna this week and am getting ahead of myself as far as a business venture goes but I'd love to start sharing my henna with others (if I ever get good enough). I wanted to take pictures of what I've done and make something like a scrapbook or lookbook but I don't want to waste my time if it's unnecessary.
Salam sister, was hoping if you could upload some finger designs and chain designs, by chain designs i mean that start from you finger and come down like a chain. Jazakallah Khair
Half a year ago I ordered henna for $ 140 and until now I received nothing. Most of the time she just ignored my mails, a few times she said she refunded my money and in a few business days it will be on my banking account. But until now I don’t have my money back.
And I am not the only one, there are more people who didn’t receive their stuff or money.
Freehand Mehndi caused me problems since half a year.
I ordered henna in Feb 2011 at FHM and never got any henna and never got any refund. She always said she will do a refund but she don’t gave me anything!!!!! I am still waiting for my $ 140!!!!
i made the first one and i added a bit of my design and wow it looks amazing and im not Indian LOL im just 14 :P my family wants me to do theirs..but thanks for the AMAZING design :)
@Morbidxvampire Each artist will charge according to their skill level. Some are spendy, others not so much. There is a cost that goes into doing henna as a business. So many people see it as a hobby or something trendy to do. We have to study for years, lots of practice, buying good supplies (not all henna is good), mixing the henna, traveling to events, ect. Being a henna artist is similar to being a markup artist, or stylist, and they are expensive too.
@FreeHandMehndi Oh, see I never knew that haha. Usually when I get Henna done it's at this festival called Mayfest and honestly they don't do a very good job and they charge alot.
Very Nice and cute Designs. Do you know where can I get a book for simple henna designs, so It would be easy to show it to my customers? Thanks for sharing it with us! :)

Salaam FreeHand mendhi. The simple dot and the two lines is a filler that i use often in paiselys. its makes the finished design look beautiful :)
