If this happens to your sim/homestead, go to World, then region details, from there to debug, close to the bottom of the subscreen, you will see Get Top Scripts. Go through the list of scripts until you locate the item, then return it to the person who rezzed it. You can also put a beacon on it and locate it physically ;)

@silverlemniscate This is an old film and wasn't my sim. I was just visiting to film the sim that day. I know what 2 do in the case of something like this now. It was just one of those days. Funny to listen 2 but in reality griefing can be a pain for others who pay for a sim and hold events ect. I know a few good people who live for their SL experience because they can't do anything else. It's their only escape & chance opportunity to socialize.

THIS is why you NEVER turn rez/build or scripts permissions ON for the public, or have auto return off if you do- EVER.

The crazy thing is, the default settings on new regions is (or used to be) these are all ON, including terraforming the land, and people who were new to owning a sim didn't know.

SL sucks now, those $1,000 sims and $295 a month tiers are insane, especially when you can run several of them on most any PC at home even and connect to any of several alternate grids.

I see some good solutions regarding estate manager functions, but if you're ever not the estate manager, and you're helping someone find invisible, scripted prims, there's "beacons" in the View menu which can help you find them.

Don't forget - 7-10 Abuse reports and griefer's account will be suspended, and if his action will be decided malicious - deleted permanently.

Btw, if sim is group owned or you as sim owner got group of trusted people you can grant them ability to eject griefers. They shouldn't even be in group owning land - if you'll use scripted object installed in sim owned by you\deeded to group. The object should be able to find named resident (griefer in sim) and ban him at command of trusted people.

I am security in a sandbox, the only way to find this kind of thing, first start by set the particules to 0 in your options, set objects at very low, and press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[T] and start selecting in the air, otherwise, create a passive script like "Drone" to tell you everything on the land, and you will find it.

All you had to do was go to the World menu. Go to the Objects tab. Refresh the list of objects owned by peoples in the sim. Scroll through the list, then you will find the name of the greifer. Click his name, click "Return All Objects" "Are you sure?" [YES] Done. All of his objects have been returned. Also, you should be able to go into his profile and just eject/ban him from there.

I knew what was happening so I recorded it. It is annoying sometimes because it can crash you & ruin some of your clips. you can't move & all that stuff. You can leave if u want. But I chose to stay to c what happened. It lasted along time.
