Hi Andrew, I checked with my friend & he had 200 rotor rpm before the aircraft moved. I was trained the way you describe. Many thanks for looking in. Do you have some new uploads now the weather should be getting warmer in the UK?
Hi Guys, As an Instructor, the only thing I would say is following several accidents in the UK. We would not move forward before we have 200rpm on the rotor and the stick was fully back. Some people have used your method and with retreating blade stall swiped their tais and props off, usually wrecking their rotor blades in the process. An excellent vid and the scenery is great. I also like the no gloves, suits and neck warmers.
