It comes with some pretty lame loops and some cool ones. Most are lame. I got mine because my 1st edition G-Dec blew up and so I got a warranty replacement. Wouldn't you know the replacement comes without a USB cord, CD rom or even instructions. I didn't even get a box for it. Thanks Fender. Oh well, at least this one sounds a lot better than the original.
Does it have like a channel switch or stomp box like capability.... Can I go from a very mellow clean sound to a high gained metal sound in an instant? If it does than this is perfect for me, if not I may buy a digitech rp500 or a peavey vypyr, any advice YouTube?
@andoo345 no bro, it doesnt have that feature, you would be better with the peavey vypyr, as with the digitech you would need an amp to hear it, and it would sound digital and boxy. the vypyr tube actually sounds really good.
@RicardoDiazHimself thanks man, looking for something to upgrade from my 15 watt line 6 spider, i wanna get the vypyr, put im probably going to get the solid state one. is that one still good?
@andoo345 by the way, he's using a midi footcontroller in the video i guess, the G-dec has a midi in and midi out, so you could use a midi controller, like a behringerFCB1010 so be ready to spend about 150 bucks more if you want the fender
if you go to the Fender website there is a gdec forum and they can help you there. Also, have you got the gdec in usb mode? if not, press and hold the utility button until the screen changes and then scroll through to usb mode and press enter.
i bought the g-dec 3 thirty but my fucking computer does not recognize it!! :@ :@ :@ can plz some1 tell me y????? before i fucking destroy it! plz! cuz i really dont get y in the hell it says like: windows cant recognize 1 of your USB devices! and im fucking frustrated right now! so thx 4 your response!
So for example, if I'd want my guitar to sound just like Slash's Sweet Child Omine, I can download that particular preset, set it up in the Fuse program and voilá??... Now to get the notes correctly, thats another story ;)
Not so expensive, but is it just a gadget or will it help a closet player improve his chops? I'll be very interested to hear the reviews when this amp hits the market. Certainly has a lot more features than the previous generation.
I'm in. was about to purchase a g-dec 30 last week, and found out about this one when i couldnt find a 3o in stock.. my only complaint...april? really? come on now!
There's another amp (vamp?) that is like the G-Dec as it an electronic amp with loads of customizable presets. It's much louder (and bigger), has a foot pedal to switch between effects, and generally kicks ass! G-Dec as 100W would be nice though :)
can you change the treble, mid and etc. without computers

@andoo345 yes, i have tried both, and the models sound basicaly the same, the tubes are going to give it a bit more warmth and response though

Its not Guitar Hero! You still have to play. Its just SOUNDS. The only way you improve is to practice.

That's F'n great.
Now I know why Fender dropped the Gdec website downloads on my two-year old version.
I couldn't get any response from their site when I inquired.
What happened to all the crap they promised about downloads and upgrades about the first model?

I like the demos like this one and the roland ones where they actually play some stuff.

Looks interesting. I'm sure it's too expensive though.

@guitardbucket
Mine (can't remember the model...) as only $350 before tax. I don't know the new prices though.
