For every Ashanti and Bobby Valentino, there's about ten Janelle Monaes and Darien Brockingtons that don't get proper recognition. I mean, it took Anthony Hamilton a decade to get noticed before he signed with So So Def, and Christion and Playa didn't exactly do numbers at Def Jam. This issue is what worries me about Teedra Moses signing to Maybach Music Group.
