@munkkiz go do macalania woods and there will be the shimmering path which u take and theres some glowing golden thing at the end of one of the paths....present ur sigil/crests and weapons and they'll be upgraded

You do realize 9999 HP has its advantages right? It's much easier to keep 9999 HP max than 99999 HP (and hence the damage potential of Celestial Weapons). And of course this is not applicable to Auron, but even then 99999 isn't that meaningful. AND 9999 MP is just pointless.
@Ladeand yea but still you shuld be able to do max damage at any time if you have max luck and max strength. Also if you have 99k hp you are pretty much ensuring you cant die, unless by death or something.
Well, 99999 HP, max everything except for evasion/accuracy (and maxing luck) is indeed possible and I guess you'd be hitting criticall 99% of the times but I just don't think I have that much free time to farm for all those luck/fortune/clear spheres. I mean sure, if you can max luck out on every single character, go ahead by all means... it's just insanely tedious in NA version.
For instant-death attacks though, auto-phoenix armor is worth having and use of phoenix down is better w/ 9999 HP.
@Ladeand Hmm i would still argue and say to use full-life but... anyway yes if you dont have enough time to farm for spheres then 9999 is a good option but i prefer having maxed hp :) it just annoys me when people claim to have the best characters when they only have 9999 hp . (im not saying this guy claimed for that but some other videos i've seen have said that.)
to be honest I myself did do 99999 HP when I first made max stats. It's just that, in terms of survivality (is that even a word?) having auto-phoenix armor on the characters worked better, along with the saving-your-turn aspect. Say 2 characters died. Full-life would take 2 turns (assuming full-life with break damage limit gives you 99999 HP, which I think it did...) plus the turns you may have lost by having them dead. Auto-phoenix would take 1 turn to heal them back.
And this is why 99999 HP isn't necessarily better than 9999 HP. 'Best' depends on how you define it.... Max everything doesn't necessarily mean best combat performance or efficiency (even with luck maxed). Although I do agree... there are some ridiculous people who say the 'best' when it's not even close to 'best'.
ps: I personally did do 99999 HP when I first played FF10. My current save has 9999 HP and they do just as well (against everything in NA ver). This is why I'm kinda defending 9999 HP
@KillswitchJohn critical hit pretty much every time, don't miss usually, and don't get hit as often. It's basically critical hit aspect + evasion + accuracy ish idea. For more details I'd direct you to gamefaqs.com. It's been a while since I put FF10 down so I could be wrong.

Tidus is simply the best blitz ball player you can get. No matter who is the goalie as long as you have jecht shot 2 you can score as much goals as you manage to get in 2 periods. He can score from any spot in the field. Well its hard move to get because of anti-venom 2 but when you get it its worth it.
Getting in to fights doesn't reset the count, but it makes it harder to dodge, example if you just came out of a fight and your being struck immediatly, then you may not make the dodge.. No Encounters makes it easier : )
And a lot less time consuming. >.> By maybe an hour or two...
What I did to get No Encounters was just get Master Thief onto one of Rikku's equipment, then go to Zanarkand Ruins dome and steal Purifying Salts from Fallen Warrior Monks. You need 30.
Wakka's is easy. It just takes a LOT of patience. There are millions of Blitzball guides out there that can help you dominate every match. And if you get Brother on your team, you're pretty much set. He's the best player period.
im telling you. the beasts are the best. they can all learn every technique and statistically they are at the top. he is god in a new game but when you start getting high levels he starts to become average
meh...he dominated the matches for me. maybe you just played insane amounts of blitzball to the point it actually mattered. i only played enough to get the jupiter sigil
i havent played it to that point yet but ive seen guides. im gonna work my way there one day. he is good ill give you that. im just saying in the long run the beasts are better but if you dont play that long brother is the way to go
@TAINTNECTAR I completely agree with you. They are really good near the end. At the beginning, they are the worst players in the game. But after time, they are simply the best. Even Tidus get's beat by some of these guys.
O_o caladbolg is the hardest so far, masamune is ubeerly easy, oh woopdeedoo go get 10 sets oh thats so hard, just go and get all the flans and bees, then get the completion for the areas with the least amount of fiends, so easy
Levelling up, it is piss easy to achieve this. Watch 1 of the penance videos were people have HP of approximately 60000-80000 per person, all done genuinely.
this is my first time playing and i switch my guys in every battle so they can get atleast 1 hit in it's working really good all the boss battles have been really easy
yeah i messed up my file too like most of you. my sphere charts for ppl were messed up. I didnt train wakka riku or kimahri biggest mistake of my whole file. riku rocks. wakka just pwns the last boss with attack reels and kimahri is just a pain in the ass to lvl but pays off a lot later in the game.
on my ps2 memory card i was stuck on the boss when yuna says yes about marrying seymour then the al bhed came out from under this sheet of ice,it was a damn tank thing with a sensor blocker,its hard,but now i have to start all over since im playing ff10 on my ps3 now,maybe i might get a better chance next time

Yea, I had issues with him too, I was a noob to the leveling up process at that time. But I beat him. I gave up after Overdrive sin, I did fine but I couldn't beat him before his Overdrive :(. but this time through the game I'm almost at a higher level that I was at Macalania and Im in Guadosalam!
anyway "my uber" bla bla bla... i mean... there's nothing uber here. a lulu vs richter solo would be uber not just a lulu with atk power done by leveling up and putting strenght spheres xD (idk the original names, i got this game in italian language ^^)
don't know if you're still looking for it but you get on the airship, find baaj temple where anima is, go to the right side of the map and the camera will change derections, it should be somewhere around there, you have to kill The Mini Boss there too.

xD np, yeah, I just finished getting all the celestial weapons yesterday, I'm going to start finishing the arena and other things too. I got a long way to go lol, I always run out of power spheres......
kill Kottos in Arena Conquest. use skill such as extract power, magic, etc. use skill and hit him once and kill him with overkill state. he will drop you 40 of them. but do not hit him twice which will cancel the effect.
go to the chamber in North where you got level 2 key sphere. in that chamber, you will see a small space which you can not see it on the map. you could have 8 tonberries in less than 2 hrs if you are really luck. i would say 2 to 4 in half an hour. remember the spot where you got tonberry and keep going to that spot exactly the same you did before.

your welcome. try to test it because i tried so many times and it work most of the time especially in that chamber. that samll room, just be patient because it didn`t seem to work at the begining but you will have much higher chance to have Tonberry in that chamber than any other places. Good luck.

i'm sorry but this is obviously a cheat man, the onion knight has break hp limit so ur hp would be higher than 9999! and also there is NO WAY yu can have break damage limit WITH OUT having preformed the ritual when having both sigil and crest. Theirs too much evidence to show that ur cheating!
It's possible. If she has 255 strength or 250 (whatever) and the nirvana at full strength, she can kill Yu Yevon with 1 99999 Hp damage shot ROFL! He only has 99999 health
Erm... hacking? Nooooo, my Lulu does that much damage easily (as well as every other character). It's called the sphere grid and break damage limit on weapons, Douche. Plus, he could have used banishing blade to armour break it. Also, killing Juggernauts for Strength sphere harvesting helps a lot. Besides, all the hacking softwares suck ass. They always break and have a tiny warranty on them. Plus, they hardly ever work and are trivial to use.

With Lulu's weapon, you need No Encounters when you dodge the bolts cuz when you enter a battle the count resets.

Masamune is probably the 3rd easiest celestial weapon....
And onion knight is probably 3rd or second, after butterfly hunter and chocobo catcher.
Caldbolg is most certainly not an easy weapon. You just knew what you were doing and had a lot of balloons in your path.

I didnt train wakka riku or kimahri biggest mistake of my whole file. riku rocks. wakka just pwns the last boss with attack reels and kimahri is just a pain in the ass to lvl but pays off a lot later in the game.

on my ps2 memory card i was stuck on the boss when yuna says yes about marrying seymour then the al bhed came out from under this sheet of ice,it was a damn tank thing with a sensor blocker,its hard,but now i have to start all over since im playing ff10 on my ps3 now,maybe i might get a better chance next time

Yea, I had issues with him too, I was a noob to the leveling up process at that time. But I beat him. I gave up after Overdrive sin, I did fine but I couldn't beat him before his Overdrive :(. but this time through the game I'm almost at a higher level that I was at Macalania and Im in Guadosalam!

don't know if you're still looking for it but you get on the airship, find baaj temple where anima is, go to the right side of the map and the camera will change derections, it should be somewhere around there, you have to kill The Mini Boss there too.

thank you, lol. ya, i found it a long time ago, well, mayb not a "long" time ago, but about 2 days after i asked, lol. the only thing i hav left to beat the game is to get those darn tonberrys from the sunken cave and catch 8 mor of them, then i gotta beat the last 2 creations at the arena, and start clearing my sphere grid and making perfect stats, lol. it sounds like a lot, but once i get the 8 tonberrys, wich take 2 or 3 hours 2 find one, i will hav almost beaten the game. thanx 4 the help.

kill Kottos in Arena Conquest. use skill such as extract power, magic, etc. use skill and hit him once and kill him with overkill state. he will drop you 40 of them. but do not hit him twice which will cancel the effect.

go to the chamber in North where you got level 2 key sphere. in that chamber, you will see a small space which you can not see it on the map. you could have 8 tonberries in less than 2 hrs if you are really luck. i would say 2 to 4 in half an hour. remember the spot where you got tonberry and keep going to that spot exactly the same you did before.

thank you SO much. i found a color coded map of sunken cave. the guys who set it up said there were a bunch of people involved that tested the different areas of the cave for all battles. the map didnt seem to work, but ill test what you have given me. Thank you again.

your welcome. try to test it because i tried so many times and it work most of the time especially in that chamber. that samll room, just be patient because it didn`t seem to work at the begining but you will have much higher chance to have Tonberry in that chamber than any other places. Good luck.

All CW give BDL. only armours give BHPL IIRC.

i'm sorry but this is obviously a cheat man, the onion knight has break hp limit so ur hp would be higher than 9999! and also there is NO WAY yu can have break damage limit WITH OUT having preformed the ritual when having both sigil and crest. Theirs too much evidence to show that ur cheating!

Erm... hacking? Nooooo, my Lulu does that much damage easily (as well as every other character). It's called the sphere grid and break damage limit on weapons, Douche. Plus, he could have used banishing blade to armour break it. Also, killing Juggernauts for Strength sphere harvesting helps a lot. Besides, all the hacking softwares suck ass. They always break and have a tiny warranty on them. Plus, they hardly ever work and are trivial to use.
