  • dont trade with china if your gonna complain bitchh lol!

  • Trade benifit both countries. Division of labor at work. For low end products, it is not cost effective to made in USA. US workers whom worked on those sectors will not be able to substain a quality life. Yet, different story for high end product for the US workers. For China, labors are in high supply, so, the cost to produce is lower. Trade make win-win for both countries. The talk for "exchange rate control", " China steal US jobs" seeming are all politican and specila interest group talk.

  • Unfair trade practices huh? Fucking politicians, calling out China shots just for getting vote counts.

  • The best thing we can do for our country now is to BUY AMERICAN.

  • @unc135am HOW??? Don't forget that so many major manufacturers have shipped millions of American jobs abroad because we won't work for slave wages.

  • Theres a great CBS News report by Andrew Wyatt on this very issue. BHO and Hillary have backpedaled on all that tough campaign talk against China essentially because they want Beijings cash to try and prop up a failed U.S. economy via continued debt sales. So basically, the U.S. government is selling its soul — again..Thank You "Cosmo" For This Insite

  • My Economic Superpower Rankings in 10 Years #1 China #2 Japan #3 US #4 Germany #5 India #6 Russia #7 Britain #8 France #9 South Korea #10 Brazil
  • If the United States would just

    1. lower that over 7dollar per hour wage down to 3 dollars per plus com.

I would be able to hire 3 people compaired to none.

    2. And if they would stop the Gangster Insurance corporations from geting laws passed that force us to buy their shit than go bankrupt and steal our money by means of a bailout.

then OMG!!! I could hire 9 people.

  • When comparing international currencies, the Chinese currency is Renminbi (RMB) pronounced kind of like this....yen - men - be.

When purchasing or doing anything in regards to money within China, people say YUAN.

  • Wait a minute here, why is US blaming china for our inflated prices? US calls it currency manipulation to keep prices low in china, but is that really true or is US's currency way over inflated? We all know the US is irresponsible in spending and is in huge debt. So they had the FED print money like there's no tomorrow. This is causing HUGE inflation! So things in the US cost more, making it less competitive. The blame game needs to stop.

    please watch this great video

  • When America adjust it's currency it's called adjustment. When China adjust their currency it's called manipulation....I thought everyone knows that they are running the so-called communist system. Does that means communism should out perform democracy system in capitalism? I wonder!

  • Not another word then about how these clowns "support working families" when they'll sell out America's Workforce in the name of Big Government like this.

  • i just miss the quality products produced in the USA and am willing..even in tough times to purchase the better product.

In fact maybe now is a time to learn something.

You don't always save, benefit or make a wise decision buying the cheapest alternative. Sometimes it really costs you.

I don't have anything against China and think we should keep trade relations strong. It doesn't have to be a situation where one side hurts the other. We can help each other working together.

  • Chinise work hard day and nigh , Americans' don't they rather have 3 world agents working for them while they play golf... so this is the result America begging to China

  • It's good that those two have seen the light, yet expect the China bashing to resurface in the years 2010, 2012, and 2016.

  • yuan is japanese.LOL. chinese currency is RMB

  • Wrong. Yuan is Chinese, Yen is Japanese. But the reporter's pronunciation suggests he's thinking about "Won", which is the korean currency.

  • no it's rmb, trust me. It's even pronounce RMB in chinese.

  • see below

  • both wrong

    wiki/Chinese_yuan

The yuan (元) is, in the Chinese lang, the base unit of a number of modern Chinese currencies. The same character is used 2 refer 2 the cognate currency units of Japan and Korea, &is used 2 translate the currency unit "dollar"..

When used in English in the context of the modern foreign exchange market, the "Yuan" or "Chinese yuan" most commonly refers to the renminbi (CNY). The distinction between yuan & renminbi is analogous 2 that between pound & sterling

  • I don't know what you guys are talking about, look:

    1) it's simply wrong to say that yuan is Japanese, because Japanese currency is yen;

    2) yuan is one name for the chinese currency, renminbi is another. yuan _can_ also refer to a unit of chinese currency, but that fact has no bearing on the claim that it is also a name for the currency itself;

    3) the relation between "yuan" and "renminbi" is _not_ like that of "pound" and "sterling", you don't say "the yuan renminbi is....", for example.

  • did you even read what i wrote. it explains your confusion

  • I did read what you wrote, most of it is just irrelevant and stuff I know (I also know the chinese language by the way), and some of it (about pound sterling) is just wrong. My reply was to point out why. see 3) above, and read both the wiki articles on yuan and pound sterling.

  • Well I am just saying, I know wikipedia is not infallable by any means but what i wrote was from there. I take it with a grain of salt like anything on wiki but think it clears up what you are both argueing about.

I don't speak Chinese but i understand what is being said after doing some reading.

  • point being its pretty simple..the guy who came here and started this whole discussion by claiming the "quan" is not Chinese is obviously very confused.

pretty simple, not that big of a deal. Glad you corrected him, just thought i'd share what i found for his part in case he was still confused.

  • in china RMB is called yuan.they are the same.

  • If our companies could compete we would have more people working and would not need the stimulus package. Why doesn't Clinton and Obama understand that?

  • Ahhh so ironic. Americans say China is cheating them yet they rely on China to support them. I think Americans should get a reality check and see who is really cheating them = themsleves.

  • from tough to pussy in 2.5 seconds

  • damned liars, the times have changed, yes she and he is no longer running for an office they have it, so now they are going to do what they originally planned anyway. can we move for impeachment already.

  • typical
