This guy is so unsung. He was one of the best soul balladeers and soul singers of all time. He was so smooth and cool. He knew how to touch your heart. I always loved Gene Chandler. Some girls preferred Marvin Gaye, some Jackie Wilson, some Sam Cooke, some Gene, and I'm one of them. All these guys were great, but Gene just always made me swoon.
