i think the commander will direct stuff, but playing like bf2 and shit, taking the commander spot is borring as hell..

i can imagine spawning and having to run for 5mins just to get killed again

i agree not everyone will listen to the head commander, fortunately since you can do what you want ppl can do the tasks they want, but it wont get them any higher experience... thats the funny thing... the more points you get means you have a better chance at commanding men... the dedicated servers will just compare the point and experiecnce totals and make those ppl the commanders, so i intend to keep my rank up. :D

Which makes sense if you look at the statistics of the age groups that play which. Kids play XBOX360. 18-34 year olds play PS3 mostly and 34+ play PC mostly.

None the less, this game is going to be the shit and since there is finally a console that can handle such uberness, I am excited.

This game seems like it'll end up begin all hype because online you're not gonna be able to get that many players to work together effectively then on top of that it seems like it'll have a problem with lag with how many players it allows on the poorly maintained Ps3 internet connection. Also with that many people anyone who finds glitches and such it'll take them a while to get fixed because they won't be detected very quickly. I'll probably try before i buy with this one.

so it wont be a host like on COD

and each squad has different goals e.g.

squade alpha must blow up the heavy machine gun

the higher rank you are the different types of squad you'll control the last rank i think will command the entire army in that match

yeah i know. but since i grew up with playstation 1 and 2, i decided to take my chances and bought a ps3. everybody told me that no get xbox but i said no. the reason is that first and foremost sony has amazing first party studios and fucking amazing titles that i want to play. second i fucking hate microsoft for making the most unreliable softwares and hardwares. they just need money. they have 3 next gen consoles and all of them have red ring on the other hand sony has only 1 console. o ya my friend told me to go to ps3 since i had a ps1 and ps2 but it didnt care about me, lol and the microsoft for making shitty product was actually this one guy fault so was told, that this manager knew there was a problem with the 360 "red ring of death" but he still release the product and he got fire, probably the pressure of the competition of sony ps3, but the new 360 are fix and ready to go..

suck to be you, and it depends how it broke, my friend bought one and the disc reader broken and my friend tought it was the disc fault and he bought another GTA4 then we found out it not the disc probably to he trade in his 360 for a new one and that one had red ring once or twice, and now he has 2 gta 4... shit happens, if you bought it one month ago you still have store warrently.. and if you have red ring that warrently cover for extra 3 year i dink, well gamestop does, so ya trade it in.nub

MAG kinda suprised me frist cause first there was like 16 multiplayer battles it increased to 32 then 60 and then all of a sudden ti became 256 WTF??? but dude this game i can tell is SICK espacilly the team work everyone needs to do a job. Its like if one guy screws up that leads to the whole squad screwing up and then the faction loses and then 256 players on PSN will start hating you. scary

I think they will be force to follow orders because you gain more experience points by participating. The commander does appoint orders. I don't know exactly how it goes, but the commander will give you a objective to complete, like blow up the gate or something, then if you succeeded then you get XP.

it wont have that much lag. Killzone 2 never lags for me and it''s they way they will structure the sever and the power of the ps3. If you have a crap computer ( a wii) it's going to lag, If you got the faster thing on the marker, and most intellectual ( the ps3). then it's not going too. Easy as that

there are in game screens out for it now, they are all in first person, but im assuming you can switch to third person when you want since its made by Zipper, regardless they all look very close to as good as killzone 2 in my opinion, and the map seems to be as big as a state, pm me and ill tell you where the screens are or you could just look it up on google, your choice
