  • Chavez Lost the term limit law proposal.

  • Chavez is what liberals in the US should be.

  • wow, remember when you had to be intelligent to get millions of people to listen to you... this guy is scary

  • Hey Beck, under Chavez 80% of televised media, 100% of newspapers, and, if I recall correctly, 703 out of 706 radio stations are still entirely in the private sector, though the government has decreed that those stations must give at least 25% of their air time to community run organizations and non-profits. Get your facts straight. Btw, I loled when Beck made Chavez' programs that benefit the poor sound evil haha!

  • @eboyd32 Chavez doesn't help the poor, the situation is bad there, people can't even eat

  • @TheAntonioOcana are you speaking from personal knowledge, as in have you been there and seen and experienced it? i mean Venezuela has always been an impoverished country anyways, so if it has improved since 1999 then that doesn't count. but i am not speaking from personal experience. rather i am speaking from having listened to lower class citizens in documentaries of Venezuela who seem to feel that their situation has greatly improved since Chavez' first election.

  • @eboyd32 I live in Colombia and have been to Caracas, I can't compare it to anything before 2009, but i have seen it first hand. Many of the poorest of the poor really feel for him, but the living conditions for over 95% of the population have been drastically reduced, as I have many friends from Venezuela as well, who have moved here to Colombia

  • @TheAntonioOcana ok, fair enough. i've never been and so i have no clue. all i know is that while America is one of the more well-off nations in the world in terms of its entire population, mainly because of its imperialistic nature and dependence on the resources of other nations, it employs a system in which a wealthy minority make obscene amounts of money in comparison to those that do real labor for them. i just wonder then how Chavez gets majority votes if 95% are worse off.

  • First time I see Glenn Beck... how did he get on news television? I mean as a comedy show or something else like that its gold, but I take it this is meant to be a serious show, come on please get real... The funny thing is I don't necessarily disagree with everything he says but come on...

  • GLENN. U ARE A FUCKING STUPID HOW COME YOU COMPARE A MAN LIKE CHAVEZ WITH A PUPPET LIKE OBAMA. no fucking way...

  • @hotdude23 c'mon man, he is definitly the worst, but you sound just as bad and make people that share your opinion seem just as ignorant as he is, your words are your weapons, use them wisely

  • Usual. Somebody who knows nothing about socialism or who has never read into marxism is bashing it. Did you know that oil in venezuela March 2005 was only $0.17 a gallon for it's citizens? That's a result of nationalization. Nationalization is also why we get cheap mail and don't get sent a bill when we call the police or our house catches on fire. Taxes are raised, yes, but it comes back to the citizens in government programs, you spend less on everyday things so you have more for yourself.

  • @SuperInfective The situation in Venezuela is not good, people can't even eat, or afford the gas at the price. Glenn Beck is an idiot, true, and he just rambles his opinion and the uneducated, ignorant, tv faithful follow like sheep... but what is going on in Venezuela is not good, and you can't really believe that is the direction the US should go.

  • I wish Obama was as bold as Chavez in fighting special interests, he might be able to sort out the USA.

  • My God, this is funny and annoying. This actually appears on American TV? Now i understand evrything! A news channel can NOT say what people think,

just report news, this guy is a monkey and appears in front of million of people manipulating/playing with their subjectivity. From 1:30 until 1:42, poorly jelous sarcasm,

surely this man after this he drived his ferrarin thinking "im a winner"

  • Fuck this motherfu..............

  • what a stupid guy Glenn read more about Chavez before talk......

  • At least Chavez has the balls to tell the truth about fascist globalization and genuinely wants to help the poor even if he impoverishes them even more with socialism. Obama is the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the American people. I will say it out loud:

    OBAMA IS NOT MY LEADER!!!

  • GLEN BECK SUCKS!!!!! fascist pig

  • Obama SUCKS!!!

    Fascist monkey

  • No you dumbass, Democrats are commies, republicans are fascist.

  • Well, that's the stereotype but Obama is a fascist. Look at what he's doing to the economy. Subsidizing corporations like Goldman Sachs and cementing people to poverty with the welfare state.

  • True, both parties are fascist, they just do it in different ways, so there plutocratic oligarchy won't go to waste.

  • you don't know what fascism means you fucking white trash ignorant moron. Fascism = far RIGHT

  • @johnowensjr1234 The problem today is that people think in terms of left and right when the truth is that the political left and political right are fundamentally the same.

  • people like beck don't know the difference between real liberalism and 21st century bureaucratic text book liberalism.

  • @truevoice08 He's a socialist and a facist? Wow thats funny because those are completely opposite political ideologies. Plus "monkey" was a nice racist touch.

You have the full Glenn Beck listener/viewer package, you are an ignorant racist that comments about ideas you clearly dont understand. I would tell you to stay in school but you are probably done with education so the only hope for you is to crack a book.

  • @TheRealEmit They are just opposite for you pea-brained jackass leftists who are still stuck in the left-right paradigm. In terms of the size of government they are the same.

You calling me a racist? Like I care. Just because I slander Obama on a Glenn Beck video doesn't mean I'm a supporter of Glenn Beck.

  • @TheRealEmit thank you for articulating the truth in an intelligent and direct way, a lot of lefties on youtube take the glenn beck approach and the hypocritical attitude makes the democrats look bad, thank you for showing respect in a place where not much is shown

  • He is a mormon...HA!

  • This guys is calling for the President of the United States to be assassinated. How, what a great patriot he is to want to harm his own president.

    Republicans are sick.

  • the banks are being run by govt and people's money. So why shud few bastard get profits and common share losses. Its not abt capitalism/socialism its abt JUSTICE and FAIRNESS. SO banks shud be nationalised

  • Beck has openly admitted on video that he is being paid $10 million a year by Fox, every year, for the next 5 years.

Do you really think he gives a damn about anything except all the money he's making?

If you do, you've been suckered.

  • @Silberdachs

Limbaugh has described life as a mega-rich: it's an endless cycle of buying new things. Personally, would rather an endless cycle of buying vivisectors so that they could experience justice.

  • Not today, those days are gone, it seems like you have to go to college. 20 to 30 years ago it seem like you could learn a skill/trade, or go work in a factory and make it decent. Now you have to go to College.

  • Capitalism does not work, when you have greedy, arrogant, ideological, people at the top. If things kept on going the way, they were, America would have been in an masked caste system. Capitalism needs to be regulated somehow.......

  • Capitalism only works if you are willing to learn a skill and get a job.

  • Caste system?? In no other nation on earth can people transcend their "caste" more quickly than the States (or other highly westernized nations).

The percentage of new millionaires is always highest in western nation.

    Sorry, try again.

  • what makes you think it isnt regulated

  • the problem with the US is that for over 50 years if not more we've been disolving the Constitution and have given too much power to the President. Bush signed too many executive orders and Obama has already as well. we are no longer "we the people" and our leaders are taking us down a dangerous path.

  • i love it how when those who were against bush's policies and criticized the administration were labeled unpatriotic and now that the right has lost everything is wrong with america and the obama administration. what a bunch of sore losers. your policies have failed!

  • So who started the ball rolling on nationalizing the banks? The Fed chairman under the Bush admin.

  • you are mister liar and make people missunderstanding the true .

  • It's not Socialism!

The banks are being given money from the government to bail them out, YES. That's correct.... .... except instead of the Government taking control, the banks still remain in control.

    It's corporate welfare!!

    Those are the FACTS

This report has so much disinformation!

  • Obama is for Socialism.

You should do some research on the word.

  • How is he for socialism? Show me.

  • They will never show you. They just spew that chit over and over again in hopes they gather as many brain dead morons they can get and see if one of them can be stupid enough to make an attempt on the President's life.

Why? cause it bothers them like a 9" nail in their brain every day they wake up and see a Black man not only as their Leader but as the most powerful man on the planet.

They just want to stop themselves from going insane with this pain. FUCK 'EM I say let them die! fuckin dolts.

  • I love Glen Beck. He is my guilty pleasure... like maybe 50% of his audiance. It is like watching "Jerry Springer" YOU KNOW IT'S TOTALLY WRONG, BUT YOU CANT STOP WATCHING... Keep it up CRAZY CLOWN!!! you really make me laugh...

  • Comment removed

  • Glenn Beck is a dick :D

  • Typical lib. Attack the messenger, but never the message. That's why libs are soooo smart!

  • @Conservative1001BG Ok let's shorten conservatives to con. Oh look, it already matches them. Con , business, racist, against human rights, retards, ignorance.

  • do people seriously eat this shit up???? that's worrying... sorry for your loss of sense, america

  • Glen Beck's underwear is red, white, and blue and full of shit.

    Down with plutocracy.

  • idiot.............

  • You're right, you are a clown =\

  • Not only is the "Chavez as dictator" propaganda tiresome, stale, and simply inaccurate, it's ironic that Beck would refer to government functions that necessarily uphold capitalism. For instance, welfare functions to maintain the physical efficiency of the workforce and thus maintain capitalism. Ironically, the liberal democratic capitalism that Beck attacks is a greater foe of socialism than rightist Anglo-Saxon capitalism.

  • So you don't think shutting down opposition television stations to silence dissent and wanting to be dictator of Venezuela for life dictatorial? Get a clue.

  • Please inform yourself about this matter more thoroughly. RCTV was not "shut down" (and in fact is still broadcast on a cable network), rather, their license was not renewed because they openly supported and endorsed the 2002 anti-democratic coup against President Chavez. If such an act had been committed here, the owners of the station would likely have been imprisoned. In comparison, a failure to renew a license five years after the fact seems rather mild.

  • Wow. So he's a dictator AND a hypocrite? Chavez was involved in the 1992 Venezuelan coup to overthrow Perez, then later on pardoned. But when the people try to overthrow him, he wants them to shutup for good. Sounds like a typical leftist to me.

  • Such a response is unsurprising, yet no less inaccurate and no less a failure to appropriately analyze the nature of the situation.

CAP was indeed "elected" in a sense, but there was no legitimate participation of large underclasses in his ascent to power due to the massive corruption that choked the effectively oligarchical system. Jaime Lusinchi is an illustrative example of how corrupt and broken the political system was, which was why Chavez introduced such sweeping measures once elected.

  • For instance, as was put by previous (and future) Venezuela President Rafael Caldera in response to the coup:

It is difficult to ask people to self-immolate for freedom and democracy when they think freedom and democracy are not capable of feeding them and stopping the exorbitant rise in the cost of living. When it has not been able to put a stop to the terrible round of corruption that has eroded the institutional legacy of the country, as everyone has seen with their own eyes.

  • More than that, term limits are themselves more anti-democratic than the abolition of them inasmuch as they function as restrictions on who the electorate may vote for. Let the electorate vote for whomever they choose! It's similarly ironic that U.S. rightists would condemn his "dictatorship" when national referendums don't even EXIST here, and Chavez's constitution ensured a right to recall presidents, a measure that he himself has survived.

  • what the hell are you talking about!

  • @Agnapostate okay look, I am definitely a democrat, people with a lot of money need to quit being so self absorbed, taxes need to be raised in a lot of areas, especially for those who generate millions, BUT I live in south america, i know Chavez is a dictator, I have been to Venezuela, you educated extreme liberals sit in the US and read books that promise paradise, but that is not what is happening, I have also been to Cuba, Cuba is not paradise, kids don't have shoes, be careful what you wish

  • @TheAntonioOcana "Educated extreme liberals in the US"? I am an anarcho-communist; my maternal family is from Central America, and they saw the consequences of CIA intervention in Guatemala after the democratically elected government of Arbenz was removed. Why should your anecdotal claims be accepted over statistical evidence?

  • Ugh. This is the kind of clownishness that passes for legitimate political commentary in this country?

  • DosensuPPe90, then explain why every other South American country rates Chavez down around 30% approval rating. I think Chavez is trying to do good, but then Hitler thought he was doing good too.

  • Hugo has urged Obama to turn to socialism???Gee, like he hasn't already.

  • He's a good man?!? You're talking about the same fat dictator that shut down television stations just because he didn't like what they had to say about him.

  • clown, yea nail on the head brain sketter go find a train set dick head

  • What banks? They're all broke but kept going with monopoly money.

  • Where do I return those Obama commemorative coins and plates?

  • flush them down the toilet

  • Thanks Glenn.

  • Obama and his followers are so drunk with power...I would not be surprised by anything they do at this point.

  • The time has come to acknowledge that obama and the democrat party are a socialist party.

  • I enjoy Glenn Beck. Thanks for posting this vid!

  • o my god, it's maarten luther himself

  • I don't like the title. Yeah, I think the congressional Dems...and probably Obama...very much intend to move us closer to european style socialism.

But, I don't like comparing Obama to Chavez. Chavez is not only a brute and a clown, he has declared his intention to become "president for life". He openly admires Castro (the self described El Commandante...as if THAT doesn't say it all). Chavez is a budding totalitarianist; 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound sack.

  • That's exactly why Obama is like Chavez. Wait until the "Fairness Doctrine" comes in before you wake-up.

  • captain: I'm well aware of The Fariness Doctrine and am watching it very closely.

It's a power play to destroy conservative Talk Radio and has NOTHING to do with fairness. Amazing how some Dems are so contemptuous of the constitution. Oh, their all for free speech...as long as they're the only ones doing the talking.

  • Some democrats I've spoken to are under the impression that Obama's presidential term will be extended by law. I sincerely hope that does not happen, but if current events tell me anything its that possible now.

  • frankie: Well, that would tough to accomplish, and I don't think anyone but the Obama-bots would even consider supporting it. I'm not sure, but I think it would require a constiutional ammendment and that's almost impossible to get through.

  • BO openly admires Che Guevera, and a host of other scumbags.

  • Che Guevara was a hero. An educated man who wore his sheart on his sleeve and died for what he believed in. How many politicians these days would die helping others??

Social Revolution is the only way the world will become a better place. Tell me.. Is the current system working??

    Cop on.

  • antoconno, he killed and tortured for what he believed in too. The only place left with his ideas is Cuba. If you like his ideas so much, go to Cuba. Everywhere else, free markets spring up by the poor people he was trying to free. Free them from helping themselves, but they do help themselves if given the chance. A chance Che and his ilk took away. Go read a history book.

  • The people were being oppressed by a US sponsored dictator. Were the people nice and happy then? No system is perfect. Is Capitalism working for the whole of the people anywhere?

  • Captialism has its ups and downs, but it's much better than socialism. The main thing socialism has produced is a bunch of losers dependent on the government system to take care of them 24/7.

  • I agree. Im from Ireland and trust me we've our own fair share of spongers who've done nothing in the way of a contribution to society and who depend on the government to take care of them. Lots of people here work their asses off and cant afford a house. Bums on welfare get them paid for by the state? Go figure.

In Socialism, if you dont pull your weight are you still looked after? Im a bit ignorant of all the "ism's" really.

  • True, the people were being oppressed by Batista, so the establishment of a new government was justified.

However, you must remember that Fidel first went to the United States for establishing formal relations. Eisenhower shunned him away, which was a collosal mistake. Without having the US as a trading partner, he turned to the Soviets for survival. He had not other choice. Democracy and freedom was his first choice, however.

Is communism working for "the whole" of the cuban people?

  • Im not 100% on Cuba or the politics over there but I doubt that the system in Cuba works for the entire Cuban people.

All I know is that it seems to me that every country in the world runs a system of unfairness. There seems to be no equality anywhere. There are a minority of selfless people and while this continues we'll have the sly ones controlling the populace.

Bring on the 2nd messiah + let him throw all the sinners into the fiery pit (im not a religious freak, I see no other alternative)

  • Lets all hold hands and sing songs!

  • And it's all happening so quickly. Obama's far worse than Chavez & has a team around him to make his agenda happen. I warned people about Chavez from the beginning, nobody believed me, now we have ALBA & spread into Bolivia, Ecuador, Nicaragua, even Costa Rica & Honduras! I've been warning about Obama & still people think it's crazy conspiracy talk, but what I said is being vindicated - all of it.

  • Both sides are saying it. We were all conned by our leaders.

  • Yes sir, Go Glenn!!

  • Glenn Beck told it like it is. No bullcrap whatsoever in his words. Well done.

  • Go Glenn!!
