That was one of the greatest live performances i've seen in my 36 years. Simply amazing. Beautiful work on the guitar, and James' voice and the guitar seemed to merge into one amazing instrument toward the end of the song. Bravo!

Man! OMG! What vocals! There's a moment his voice and the guitar almost "blend", it's surreal. I'm already CRAVING for a James Durbin album. And this Adam X James is BS, everybody who heard about/watched the AI backstage events know this. They got along well, respect each other and for me, as Adam should have won (there weren't so many homophobic out there) James shall win this year (if there are enough open-minded people). LOVE BOTH! GO, JAMES, GO!

OMG this is so great!! You should post this as a video response under the one that I did. It was 2 years ago .. JAMES and the entire band is so much better in this video! Many people would like to see this... Somehow the one one my site has gone from 5000 to 56,000 since last couple weeks! But the sound and overall performance is so much better here .. it is GREAT!!

I am so happy to see James on Idol...my husband and I sat directly behind you at this performance..we were saying "he should be on American Idol" and were told "you will be seeing a lot of him real soon" LOL and we knew he would ...needless to say, we were very impressed and pray that he wins !! This is one of my fav Beatle songs...The best of Luck James and Heidi ( this is my sister's name too). Awesome voice...better than Adam Lambert...more like Robert Plant...

James sings the same high notes as Adam, but he has a real male voice as well, which Adam does not have.

@raythespian You dont know what your talking about. Adam has the ability to sing ina real make voice if he chose too....just check some of the songs off of the album that he did not approve of putting out. Stuff prior to his time on Idol. Then come back and say the same.

@acciofirebolt29 - Watched the entire mv "Whaddya Want". Sorry, I couldn't take any more. The emptiness of the character was painful, as is the stage persona that he has adopted to represent himself. He is a talented, well trained musical theater performer. A lot of people love it, and he is making a good living. That's what a career is all about.

@raythespian Whaddaya Want From Me is not the song I was referring to. I was talking about songs off the unapproved album Take One....search "Adam Lambert - Climb (Take One)" on youtube. My point was he has a MALE voice, just a much as James does. You'd me shocked at how Adam sounds on Climb and all the songs on this album.

And of course you know (spoiler alert!) that James already made it into the TOP 40 after going through Hollywood Week on Idol...
